TruSkin SPF 30 Mineral Face Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide, 1.7 fl oz

This SPF is now apart of my daily routine! It goes on super smooth, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any white cast. I love how it works under my makeup, it doesn't feel heavy at all. Plus, it has clean ingredients, which makes me feel even better.

I recently decided to make the switch from chemical to mineral sunscreen so was on the hunt for a good mineral sunscreen for my face. I've been a daily sunscreen wearer for years and was using an expensive, chemical sunscreen that felt really good on my face. Now the task was to find a nice mineral sunscreen. I use other TruSkin products so know they are a good brand so decided to give this sunscreen a try. Bottom line - I've found "the one". It's great. It goes on a little white but rubs in easily so doesn't leave a lasting white residue. It's non-greasy and feels moisturizing. I've been using it now for about 2 months when playing tennis for 2 hours in full sun and it seems to be doing a good job of sun protection. Just ordered my 3rd tube.

I purchased six of these sunscreens during the mid-July Amazon Prime Days while it was roughly 50% off its current price. I saw that this product had mostly positive reviews and had over 20% zinc oxide so I wanted to give a try. Today, I tried it out. The lotion looks thick coming out of the tube; however, it spreads easily on the skin, including to facial hair / a beard. The white cast fades out as it settles in; the end result is a mild white cast on the skin and a more noticeable white case on facial hair / a beard. The product did not pill up / cake up anywhere on the neck area, which separated it from other mineral lotion sunscreens that do. The downside of this product is that due to the construction of the tube, squeezing out the contents is slightly difficult. The biggest downside is that it has a noticeable, unpleasant scent while applying to the face. I received all six sunscreens on July 31, 2024, and all six had an expiration date of 05/2025.

Great mineral sunscreen. Seems like there will be a white cast when you first put it on, but as you apply and rub it in, it absorbs into your skin wonderfully. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy either. I can wear this with my BareMinerals make up without any issues. I don’t break out using this line of products which is obviously good. I recommend TruSkin products, and when I’m out I’m buying more.

Very pastey in texture and absorption. Big time white cast unless you rub rub rub rub rub rub rub it in. Tinted options like Paula's choice and la roche anterior blended much better. La roche was the perfect balance of matte vs shine.

Great product. The best facial mineral sunscreen I’ve ever used. No sticky white cast, it absorbs very well and you can wear makeup over it without a caked look.

I just got the item and I found out that it’s one third empty. It’s all sealed though. Is it supposed to be like that? If so, I won’t buy it again!

I was not sure about the product at first because of the small size and amount but after talking to the co-founder (who was amazing enough to write me) I used the product and I have to say a little goes a long way and I will purchase from this company again. It feels great on my skin and does the trick! Amazing experience!!
