Sturdy with adjustable gas feed. Would purchase again. The table too!
This Gas One put out some serious heat. Was debating between a burner and an electric fryer. For me, the right choice was the burner. For a 1st cook, did some homage double cooked fries. Was going for deep fried mushrooms, zucchini, and cauliflower, but was overcome by spring and outdoor refreshments. The burner got to 300 in no time. First cook was at 270. Let the fries coo;. Then back in at 350. Did a Cajun seasoning on the. 2lb of fries gone. The were crispy, not greasy, and hot! Almost as good as 5 guys fries. I put the burner on a Chandler stainless steel table! The Earth is round!

Powerful and Reliable Burner for Outdoor Cooking!
The GasOne 200K BTU Propane Burner is a total powerhouse! Whether I'm brewing beer at home or frying a turkey, this burner has the strength and reliability I need. The 200K BTU capacity provides more than enough heat for large cooking tasks, and it has a nice adjustable flame control with the 0-20Psi regulator, allowing me to fine-tune the heat depending on what I'm cooking. The steel braided hose is sturdy and built to last, ensuring a secure connection with no worries about leaks. Setup was straightforward, and the burner is incredibly easy to use. I especially love how stable the burner is, even when it's running at full power. It can handle large pots and has no problem maintaining high heat for extended cooking sessions. It’s perfect for outdoor cooking—whether you're deep frying, home brewing, or boiling large batches of food. The heavy-duty design feels solid and durable, and it's held up well through several outdoor cooking adventures. If you're looking for a reliable, powerful, and easy-to-use outdoor burner, the GasOne 200K BTU Propane Burner is an excellent choice. It’s an investment that will last for years and definitely makes outdoor cooking tasks a lot easier and more efficient!

great outdoor cooker
Well worth the price. Heats up 6 gallons of water quickly. Great for making beer and for frying in large quantities. I keep it outside and the banjo burner has rusted a little as others have mentioned but it doesn't affect the cooking. It doesn't bother me as the frame is dirty anyway from all the frying and beer making. Solid construction. So much more powerful than the turkey fryer I've had for years. Would definitely recommend!!

Out of box good as advertised
I am unable to speak to longevity at the moment. Out of the box it is in great shape and worked perfectly. It brought about 25 qts of tap water up to full boil around 15-17 mins using a medium grade stainless pot with lid and basket. I will report back in the months that follow.

I like it, I've gotten a ton of use out of it... But there are a lot of serious shortfalls.
I am not using this for brewing or boiling gumbo or whatever, I am using it as a high heat outdoor searing, griddling and sauteeing station, which this absolutely does work for.HOWEVER:I had to buy an enormous cast iron pan. My 10-12" round pans and 11" square griddle were usable, but a lot of the heat licked up around the sides. Wasting gas and leaving my hands exposed to flame. So if you don't own an enormous pan already, either buy a smaller-diameter burner or budget in some enormous cookware.Heat control is tricky. Chicken thighs in my photo were supposed to be seared "medium," for 15 minutes... They got demolished. Black as tar. I won't fault the burner for this, I am not using it for its intended purpose, just something to be aware of. It is rock-stable and very well protected from wind gusts, in my experience.Other problem... The gas/air mix "dingus" poking out from under the burner. I don't understand why it's so big, or why it is situated where it is. I'm glad to have control over the air mixture, but the design is clumsy, having to use screws to "tension" the sheetmetal adjustment plate. There's a review that mention the gas input snapping off, causing a massive fire. I don't see any sign of weakness, my bet is that these people kicked the hose, or stepped on it... but you can blame the lousy positioning, lousy design.Next issue... Why did I have to spend $20 extra dollars buying a cover? Why wasn't this included? Competing burners include covers. The cover doesn't fit well because of the gas input jutting out.Lastly - The black coating is weak, wears quickly. As other reviewers mention, this thing STINKS! Weeks of almost daily use I see a lot of the black coating has burned away, about 1-2 cm under the contact point where the pan sits. This coating is probably the source of the odor! I assume these areas will rust, I'll just keep an eye on it, oil these areas up if I ever put it away for an extended period.Overall I am happy with it, but, for the money, after comparing it to everything else here on Amazon it should include a storage cover, maybe even an igniter (which I had to add myself.)
