DIVEVOLK Expansion clamp for seatouch 4 max housing Including Red Filter/Purple Filter +Clamp+Conversion Ring

It is a great accessory to have to complement the divevoke casing. The red filter works great under water to correct the color. Very easy to use.

Filter works great - easy to move into place or back out of place under water. Just need to be careful the edges aren’t in the photo (cf finger over lenses effect) - had that happen a few times.

Like others have stated the screw mechanism can come loose resulting in lost components. Mine didn’t but I can see how it could happen and I had to worry about it in the back of my mind. Otherwise excellent quality.

Nice and necessary addition to the housing. It has a strong lid build and is a say to use. Ensure that you have it centered on the camera aperture when diving. Also after you enter the water take look for bubbles that may have found their way into the lens. My request would be that the design allows you to move between red filter, macro and wide angle mounts more easily.

I had the original clamp from Divevolk from my Seatouch 3 and i found it to be extremely useful. The clamp system allows for attaching the unit to lights, trays and lights and is a total must have. It also allows for different filters to be used on it. The red filter is very useful to have and the clamp easily allows for the filter to be pushed out of the way during flash/light situations. The original design was a split design that was held together with a tightening screw that also held the filter holder. There was an issue with the old design if the filter screw came loose it would also loosen the clamp. Now DV has introduced this one piece design that eliminates that issue. As it is one piece the clamp stays in place. I am now using this new clamp system on my Seatouch 4 housing. It is so much improved and so useful to enhance my camera system. Totally recommended.

There is NO way that this clamp will fit on the 4 Max housing! I couldn't do it and my husband (who is a contractor) couldn't do it. The clamp is smaller than the housing and there is no way to adjust it to make it larger. The instruction videos are a joke! If I could give it negative stars I would.

I would consider this accessory a requirement, and the functionality is now built in to the larger housing. This clamp is great. Can attach red filters and wet lenses easily and can move them out of the way easily as well. On a few dives after moving the lens out of the way a few times I like to check and ensure the screw is still tight, but I can't imagine using the housing without this accessory.

These work well for color correction but the filters are very soft plastic. I scratch mine on the fourth use. The way the filters mount it is very hard to protect them when entering or exiting the water so they are prone to damage. I tried to order a replacement $20 filter directly from DiveVolk but the shipping was $20. The hardware mount is great though.
