I recently used the b.tan Self Tan Remover, and it truly saved me from a terrible tan mishap. After applying a tan that didn't turn out as expected, I turned to this product hoping for a fix—and it delivered! The remover efficiently erased the uneven tan, leaving my skin smooth and perfectly prepped for a fresh application. I appreciated its gentle formula, which didn't irritate my skin at all, and knowing it's vegan and cruelty-free made me feel even better about using it.

Unfortunately, this product is so disappointing. I have been using the b.tan self tanner for a year or more & absolutely love it. It beats St. Tropez and other high end tanners I used for years before discovering b.tan. I HIGHLY recommend their self tanners. However, this remover does not work. I’ve used it for 2 days in a row now & it is not removing my tan, like at all. There are some patchy spots, but it just looks like the tanner has worn down, not like I’ve been trying to actively remove it for 2 days. I first applied a generous layer about 4 days after I had tanned. Left it on for about 15 minutes (instructions say to wait 5), got in the shower, and did my usual removal routine. I didn’t notice any coming off, I switched from a rag to a scrub brush to see if any tanner came off. Nope. So I got out, dried off and tried again the next night. Same outcome, very little tan was removed. The best tan remover I’ve found is the Tanologist remover. It works really well, but is always sold out at all of the Targets near me. I’ll stick with it next time.

Doesn’t get all the product off and leaves me splotchy. Even after I’ve had my tan on for more than 3 days (what is recommended) and absolutely scrubbing my skin off… it still doesn’t get it all. It gets some but not all :(

This product is a game changer. No more scrubbing my skin raw to get rid of a patchy self tan/spray tan. 1-2 layers of this (depending on how much tan you have left) will strip all that patchy color away. I don't think I can live without it

It works but very gradually. You’d have to do it 2-3 times for your tan to fully come off .

Extra tip: if you stain your toilet seat with fake tan just use this

Despite applying the tanning remover several days after my tan had already faded, it still failed to remove the remaining color as claimed. I ended up resorting to my usual method—scrubbing with exfoliating gloves—to achieve the desired results. Given this experience, I won't be purchasing this product again.

The b.tan tan away was a life saver!!! I used self tanner before a vacation I’d been looking forward to for a year and for some reason, the tan didn’t take. It was splotchy, uneven, and looked horrible. I was so upset and it wouldn’t wash off. I ordered b.tan’s tan away in a hurry and it took all of the unwanted, uneven tanner away immediately. I exfoliated once again, applied new tanner and the results were great. This stuff is a magic eraser for unwanted self-tanner and my vacation was amazing!
