You need to be aware....
... that this is not a complete, ready to go humidor. For what it is, one of the lowest cost thermo-electric humidors on Amazon, it is 5 stars. I have been running mine for almost 2 months, and it has been excellent. It did not have a strong plastic / chemical smell when I unboxed it, like other manufacturers. It keeps its temperature to within .4ยฐF (it does seem to daily go through a brief warming cycle of about 10 mins once a day, prob for maint, and rises about 1.5ยฐF and then quickly gets back to normal). It looks good and, stores a fair amount of cigars, though I would say plan on no more than 250-270 robusto - toro sized as max. What you need to know about this humidor, if you are not an experienced humidor / cigar person is: - You MUST buy 2-way humidification system for your humidor, either a couple of Boveda 320g packs or some two-way bead tubes like RH shield. Do NOT use the provided water tray, it will cause your cigars to develop mold. - You will not be able to use this humidor (or any humidor for that matter) to store cigars, out of the box. The wood inside will need to be seasoned for at least a week (if you live in a high humidity climate) to a month (if you live in a dry climate). Just throw your humidification in there with the power on and temp set and forget about it for a couple of weeks until the humidity stabilizes. - You will need to purchase a hygrometer / thermometer that you can read remotely. The door has a mirror finish UV filter on it and even with the light on, you cannot read the included hygrometer through the door. You do not want to be constantly opening the door to take readings, as it takes about an hour for the humidity to stabilize after. Govee and others make good units for this purpose. - Make sure you calibrate your hygrometer(s) and thermometer before relying on them. Google is your friend here. While the thermostat on this device is precise, it is not always accurate. Mine (as mentioned before) holds temp to within 1/2ยฐ, but to get 65ยฐF I have to set it to 67ยฐF on the unit display - precise, but not accurate. Also, remember, relative humidity is RELATIVE to temperature, that means, if the temp goes up the humidity reading goes down, and vice versa. Make sure to calibrate at the temp you plan on keeping things at - it will make your readings more accurate. - If you are have a lot of non boxed cigars, plan on buying more drawers for the unit. The shelves have a lip at the back, but the sides are flat and your cigars will roll off the shelf if you pull it out. Alternatively, buy some good ribbon and bundle the cigars like they do in the factory. - the cooling tech in this unit will NOT work outside of the recommended temp ranges...because physics...so that means you need to keep it in your house, not the garage or the basement. - the display is bright, so if you are going to put it somewhere near where you sit or sleep, plan on buying some alarm clock dimming cling film (you can find it here on Amazon, cut to size and smooth over the display, very easy. - this is a near air-tight container. If you are familiar with tupperdors or coolerdors - you humidification targets will be near identical with this device. For the uninitiated, this means, decide what temp / humidity levels you want to keep your cigars at (65ยฐF/65-68%Rh is a good place to start) and buy the pack or beads below that. So, 70% beads/packs will stabilize around 72-73% in a sealed container (65% - 67-68%, 62% - 64-65%, 60% - 62-63%, etc) For the price, you are getting a quiet, reliable humidor for much less (even after buying what I have recommended above) than ready to go units - they start at $800 and go to $3000 for the bigger ones. One last note, consider buying the heating/cooling model, even if you don't live in a cold climate. By having a heating unit in it, the device has better ability to keep the temp as close to the temp you set. Without it, it will take longer for it to adjust the temp up should it overshoot the selected temp. It's not completely necessary, but your temp swings as the cooling goes on and off, it can take a bit longer in the winter. I researched and agonized over this buying purchase for months, after reading the other reviews on this device, and I wished someone had told me this stuff before buying it, so I did it for the next person. I am a cigar enthusiast, and have done a ton of reading and research on these topics in the last 6 months and see a lot of mistakes and misunderstanding in some of the low ratings on these devices, there is still a chance you will get a malfunctioning unit, but more often it seems like people do not have the knowledge necessary to troubleshoot standard cigar humidor issues. I hope this helps you!

Excellent humidor 48L cooling only
I'm using this 48L for several months and it's working great. Should be all 4 sided shelves. The flat shelves are a pain in the you know what. Cigar fall off front and back. Holds temperature and humidity really well. Light is borderline useless. Digital hydrometer matches close to my calibrated Bluetooth units. Ymmv on that.

Best Upgrade I Have Done Yet!
Upgraded to this from my Case Elegance, and soooo glad I did. Case Elegance makes a good humidor, but having the ability to control the temp truly makes a huge world of difference. Where I was struggling to keep the humidity steady before, the NEEDONE humidor keeps the temp even. Toss in a good 2 way humidity pack, and you're pretty much done. Super quiet too. You rarely hear this thing, and it's right next to my desk. The electronic hygrometer is fairly accurate so far. I included tempi.fi Mini Wireless Hygrometer while I specifically calibrated, and the two continue to match up nicely. (Still recommend an upgraded secondary hygrometer, as these small ones have proven a bit unreliable for me long term.) My only wish is that the door had a bit more clearance, as you do have to open it all the way to pull out the shelves. That said, it's not at all a deal killer, and my time in and out of the humidor is limited and causes no impact to the storage of the cigars. I am now a believer... if you have any significance to your cigar collection (like more than 10 cigars), seriously consider this. I have this set at 65 degrees, and a 65% humidity pack, and my cigars are happy! And so am I.

DO NOT BUY, ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. TOTAL JUNK
Bought the 48L after reading the negative reviews but still thinking, how bad can it be? Answer is BAD and I wish I never wasted my money or time. Itโs total junk and just doesnโt keep humidity at all. The fact that the factory humidity function doesnโt work at all and you need to add boveda packs is your first red flag. Then you learn you need to โtapeโ the drain hole in the bottom to keep humidity is another red flag. Really? I need to tape something that is brand new? If it functions how itโs advertised why would you have to add anything for humidity? Or tape anything for that matter?! Iโve had it for about 2 months in my office in New England and the second it got above 75 outside all hell broke loose with the humidity fluctuating. Iโve know learned that is when it typically goes bad, around the 2 month mark. I have about 300 high quality sticks in it, Fuente, Diamond Crown, Tatuaje, Micallef, Foundation, Padron etc. and I found water in the bottom of the unit everyday for the past week regardless of the hole being taped and using boveda packs instead of the factory humidifier. My govees are constantly sending alarms of to high or to low RH. Just a total piece of junk. Save your money and buy something better. I now have to pay to get rid of this piece of crap at the dump and save up for a better unit. BEWARE! Ps. All YouTube reviews on this thing are crap, they send those YouTubers free units to hype it up so youโll bite and they can rip you off!

Very Nice and Worth It.
Great unit here. When you get this humidor. Don't get in a hurry to use it. Wash it out very well with because of the incredible plastic smell inside. Don't worry it will go away pretty quickly. Baking soda in a bowl will help. The Spanish Cedar drawer and trays haver very little (almost none) aroma to them. Not sure why there is a drain hole in the bottom of the unit. It just makes it tough to maintain humidity inside. I added a very small (computer) fan inside to help circulate the air and eliminate any uneven humidity. I ran the power cord through that drain hole and then sealed it shut. Now humidity is maintained at 69% - 70% easily. The unit heats and cools as needed to keep the interior at 69F. Heating and cooling is the only way to go with a humidor of this size. The temp readout is off by about 1.5 degrees which is about 1%. That's not bad at all. A few minor modifications and it goes from very good to GREAT. Overall, it is worth EVERY PENNY.

Fantastic product
QUIET, heats and cools, looks great, I really have no complaints other than 2 things. The door has to be open ALL the way in order to slide the trays out. This could be problematic if you are keeping it in a tight corner.. I wish there was a better sliding mechanism (soft mechanism) and the door hinging wasn't an issue.. The hygrometer seems to be off by 4-5% compared to an accurate calibrated hygrometer, so a calibration option would have been good. The light also only illuminates the top part and not overall cabinet area.. But honestly, these are minor gripes and feedback so the company makes an upgraded version. This thing works BRILLIANTLY, super quiet, very accurate and hassle free. I love mine and will def recommend it!

Needone to have happy cigars
I have had for 1.5 years. Great product. I find it works better in a climate controlled environment. I spent $100 for 3 trays because the shelves will have you chasing rolling cigars. The inside light doesn't light the bottom trays. The digital hygrometer is novelty at best. No issue buy a hygrometer. Temp and digital push pad is spot on. No noise. Thermoelectric so it works best in climate controlled environment. Season trays with distilled water for 48 hours, use Boveda packs. Excellent gasket sealing door, heavy door with tinted glass. Recommend highly. I bought a friend the 23.

BUYER BEWARE!! You may loose your money!
Buy with EXTREME caution, read the 1 and 2 star reviews first. With these units you could either end up with a fantastic unit that will protect and preserve your collection, or you could end up with a dud that may destroy your cigars! I have 2 of the 48L heating and cooling model. Model number NO-4BT The first unit i bought back in Nov of 2022 works flawlessly. I have 3 Govee digital hydrometers spread throughout the unit. Top, middle and bottom. All three hydrometers consistently show similar temps and humidity. The key to this is that the fan in the unit runs 100% of the time. Its not a bug but a feature. The fan running all the time is great. Its quiet and keeps the humidity and temperature even throughout the unit. Its important to point out that just because the fan is running doesn't mean the unit is cooling. There is an element behind the fan that cuts on and off as needed. Regardless the fan continues to run to circulate air. Absolutely perfect. The 2nd unit, an identical 48L heating and cooling unit i just recently purchased in Nov of 2023. I have an additional 3 Govee digital hydrometers inside this unit, placed top, middle and bottom. This unit has been an absolute nightmare and NEEDONE customer service is one of the worst I've ever encountered. The problem with my second unit is that the fan does not run to circulate the air. It only runs to cool itself. What this causes is for the temperature to be hot at the top of the unit and cold at the bottom of the unit. The humidity level in the unit is also uneven and sporadic. To fix this temporarily ive had to place a usb fan inside of the unit in order to circulate the air. In doing so the unit works correctly with my band aid. I've reached out to NEEDONE to receive a refund or a replacement but thus far they have been extremely reluctant to accept that the unit is not functioning as designed, even after recording a video at their request showing the function of both units. Additionally be aware that the customer service team is located in another country so even just communicating with them is a very slow process. About one email message per day. They requested i make a video to illustrate the problem which I did. The video showed both the working and non working unit side by side. Additionally, i filmed a 3rd unit I have from King Chii that is identical to the NEEDONE and it also works just as my first NEEDONE unit does. Even with this video evidence, they refuse to admit that the unit is defective. There are 2 reasons they don't want to accept that the unit is defective. #1 is because they want the customer to pay for return shipping, which is very costly on a unit of this size and weight. This cost alone will make some just accept being stuck with a broken product. #2 By not accepting that the unit is defective, they can deny a full refund when the unit reaches them. They essentially make it so hard to get a refund or replacement, they force you into keeping a broken product. To summarize, be extremely careful buying from this company. Don't give them any money your not willing to loose. You may end up with a perfect unit or you may end up with dud that's more expensive to return than it is to just keep the broken unit. Ill update this if there are any changes. UPDATE 1/4/2024 โ After over a month of emails they finally admitted that the unit is not working correctly and they donโt want the unit back but have not refunded my money. Update 1/27/2024 - After speaking with amazon, Amazon support did refund my money for the unit. NEEDONE support via the Amazon platform reached out as well and after speaking with them they were way more understanding of the situation and way more responsive. Not sure if there is maybe a different support team via the email support but it feels like night and day. Im retro actively upgrading my rating to a 3 star due to the much better customer service i recieved on the amazon side. NEEDONE has assured me they will look out for future fan failures like on my unit so others dont run into this. Hopefully they do.
