Very nice flavor oil

This olive oil is excellent for dipping (and a great value). It's one of my favorites. It has a great flavor and is really good quality. Mine arrived in date and in good condition. I would definitely order it again - Five stars from me :)

We always use organic olive oil in our house but are used to Greek olive oil. Honestly I was surprise that this M.G. Pappas olive oil was an award winner because I found nothing extraordinary in its flavor. This olive oil has a very nice mild and hence versatile flavor. It is organic, single origin, cold pressed EVOO, all very important factors to me. I like that this M.G. Pappas goes with anything where as some of my other olive oils are too peppery for example for everyday cooking. This olive oil is DEFINITELY better quality than anything I can get in my local grocery stores. As far as value this olive oil is pretty spot on price wise for it having all the traits I said were important to me and keeping in ming that the price includes Prime shipping too, I have paid more for smaller bottles or decent olive oils. Four stars for a strong "like".

I could not tell any difference between this and the brand I regularly use other than a distinct and slightly stronger flavor. The color of this oil is clear and it is fragrant. I was very pleased with the bottle as it has a stopper style lid and pours without running down the side. For testing purposes I used this to make a vinaigrette and a dip for some bread. I found the distinct taste was lost in the vinaigrette but it was present in the dip. I would say this product is worth the money if you enjoy the taste of olives and you are looking to highlight the olive flavor in a dish. If you are going to use it for health benefits alone or simply as a vehicle to profile other flavors a less expensive alternative would serve you just as well. That being said I would personally consider this a gourmet olive oil.

I love high quality olive oil. My favorite olive oil ever is Frescobaldi, but also Olio Verde along with Frantoia. This MG Pappas right up there in quality, plus this is organic (the others are not).In my opinion the price is really good for the high-quality. It has a delicious grassy, fresh flavor, slightly sweet, with just a hint of bitterness. It is perfect for bread dipping, on a salad, or drizzled over humus. It is wonderful to use if sautéing shallots and garlic.I am comparing this with three other olive oils that I like. Out of the four Olio Verde is my least favorite, yet still wonderful! It’s better than grocery store extra virgin olive oil, but still not as good that you would find in a quality restaurant. Better olive flavor but still very oil tasting vs true olive oil.

The M.G. As it happens, my family grows olives in Puglia, Italy and is part of a cooperative that allows them to make olive oil from their olives. Italians, including my family, take great pride in their olive oil and consider it the best in the world. Of course, they are biased, but I have tried many different EVOO’s and agree that Italians do make very fine olive oil. M.G. Pappas is an excellent Greek producer of high quality EVOO. I am not surprised that they source their olives from Puglia. I use it alone on my salad every evening and occasionally dip bread in it. The taste is smooth and delicious. Recommended.

I do a lot of cooking, and I love using this olive oil. It has a nice, mild flavor, and the bottle is great for a slow drizzle that prevents you from using too much and being wasteful.
