      We have an incredible source over in Nepal that purchases the Shilajit Resin from a local group of farmers/harvesters organized through a co-op. This year they had a much larger production and were able to reduce the cost which in turn we were able to pass along to the consumers. At Holistic Bin; we place quality/health/community at a much higher regard than profits.

Howcome this Shilajit doesn't solidify in ambient temperature?

Hello Thomas,
     Shilajit in original form is in rock formation, melts in heat/sun where it is gathered in spring. Filtered with spring water, purified on low heat, sun dried. 
      Then it is prepared for market either back to rock form, sticky (3 to 6% moisture), and resin which is 7 to 15% moisture. 
       We found a moisture level between 10 to 12% is most potent and most user friendly to portion and serve.  We only serve the resin in flint glass with foil seals for safety which the drier versions would not portion out well.
      Our resin will always resort back to rock form over time or you could even excel the process by placing an amount on foil and allowing it to dry in the natural sunlight.

Why doesn't the product mention Fulvic Acid? Why is it not mentioned in the lab reports?

Shilajit humus essentially consists of organic matter (60 to 80), mineral matter (20 to 40%), and up to 5% trace elements. The primary organic substance of Shilajit humus is fulvic acid (FA).
Fulvic acid has been proven to support every stage of cellular metabolism, adding vitality to both inside and outside the body.
Fulvic acid is considered to be one of the most powerful natural electrolytes known.  Fortunately there are high levels of Fulvic Acid in Himalayan Shilajit, but we are not able to post the percentages because it is not line listed in the various COA's.    Best of Health!!
