Merrell Women's Encore Ice Slip On

I've had a brown pair of these for about 10 years that just were so beat up, the lining on one kept coming out, but when I tried to purchase a new pair last year Merrell had discontinued this model! I was devastated as these are just about the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear. You won't want to ever take them off, no socks needed, as they are fully lines and so soft, cushy and comfortable. Even as Spring and Summer roll around, you'll be awaiting fall and winter so you can sink your feet back into these fantastic shoes. So, I rushed to buy them (in black and then in brown) and yes, they are a little pricey, but for the time that we spend on our feet, they are worth every penny. And now, OH JOY! I find they have them now in a multitude of beautiful and vibrant colors, I wish I could have them all. Well, maybe next year we will be able to get a couple of other colors. Yeah! Thank you, Merrell, for bringing back this marvelous shoe. Awaiting my Stone (brown) ones. But will keep the old ones to use out in the yard. You just have to try these shoes; you will be so pleased that you did. I do not work nor am I in any way affiliated w/Merrell, I just LOVE these shoes. When my feet are happy, I'm happy!

While the lining looks like these would be as soft and spongy as bedroom slippers, keep in mind they have a rugged sole so they won’t feel that plush. I have only had the opportunity to wear them once but you can bet they will be my shoe of choice this winter in Maine. I have already covered them with suede protectant spray and will do so a few more times throughout the wet winter months. I bought my regular Merrill size 8.5 Medium and they fit a littIe snug with a Dr. Motion brand nylon knee high. I expect them to stretch out with wear. The color was uniform, unlike the photo, but made no real difference aesthetically.

Perfect shoe/ slipper. I have a hard time finding a comfortable shoe, these are perfect. They hug your foot, super comfy, and room in the toe box. I’ve worn them less than a week, and the insole lining comes out when I take them off, and I have to try and smooth it back without bunching up the toe area. in, it’s annoying. That’s why 4 stars.

These are the best winter shoes. I have wide feet and shoes are really difficult to find, but these are perfect because of the wool. I think they’d still be good for narrow feet. The wool conforms to your foot. Love these. Will never wear anything else in the winter.

Have tried so many shoes and as an off chance tried these. Wow. No more aching anything and even doing stairs is easier. I swear it helps alignment! Great shoe!!!!

Perfect for my feet. Cozy warm without socks and have great support. I bought a second pair in a different color because I liked them so well. Highly recommend. I have medium width feet and they were perfect and fit like a glove. If your feet are wide, select wide size.

My concern, especially since I just ordered a few pairs of this beloved shoe is that it might be a knockoff. The box was totally flimsy. The sticker on the box does not look like past Merrell product stickers I’ve seen. They have a recent month date product date on the tag (but I could be totally misreading that, I saw how to determine it on internet). Synthetic shearling = smelly. And most concerning is that they appear to have the upper of the Encore Q2 ice fashion sneaker but the sole of the Women's Encore Ice 4 Clog. That being said I have been wearing a few days and they ARE comfortable and seem to be doing the job of keeping my legs from killing me which only the Qform Merrell (they stopped making) seem to do. Soooo should I even care if it’s a knockoff? Especially if the real Merrell’s quality seems to have gone down (IMHO) and these get the job done? Hopefully they last. It’ll be a very expensive mistake (given my multiple purchases) if they don’t.

I was a little worried about purchasing this product, but many reviews stated how comfortable and warm this are, so I bought them. I must say, they are very comfortable. I have longish toes and there is enough room without being too big. The shoe itself fits great. I have a narrowish foot and these shoes have just the right amount of room, not too big or to small. They cradle my feet just right. The only thing that I might like to have is a wee bit more arch support...but the arch support is not flat. Very comfortable and warm. Love these shoes.

I ordered the grey colour to get the black sheepskin lining that will not get so dirty looking over time but was sent the brown pair with cream lining so I don't know how that went wrong in the delivery process. It's too expensive to return to the US so I'm stuck with them. They are keeping my feet nice and warm on cold mornings and I've worn them more than I expected as they're so comfortable. I thought the low back on the shoe/mule style would be an issue but it's been ok so far. I live in a relatively mild climate but really feel the cold so don't know how good these would be in really cold weather. I probably wouldn't take them away on a trip to colder places as they are not a full shoe. Overall I expect these to last me many years as Winter slippers.

This is my third pair of these boots/clog style. I wear them for the winter weather in Vancouver...especially for walking our dog. They are fabulous - comfortable, supportive, warm, I hope Merrill continues to make them, as they are such good boots. The style makes them easy to slip on...the soles help with preventing slipping...they are great! (as I said my 3rd pair!)

These Merrell clogs are extremely comfortable,So much so I bought another pair!One for slippers inside and one for outdoors.They are very supportive !As well the fur lining makes bare feet warm for both inside and out.I would recommend.
