RuffwearFlagline Dog Harness, Lightweight Lift-and-Assist Harness with Padded Handle

I have a now 2 year old excitable dog. I can't tell you how many harnesses we've been thru. Either they would get chewed on if i didn't immediately take it off when we came back from a walk or they didn't fit right or just didn't hold up.I had looked at the Ruffwear harnesses every time before buying a new harness but couldnt justify paying more for a harness that would at best only last a few weeks or so I thought.Then she slipped her harness.Decided it was worth a try even if it didn't hold up. Well, I wish I had gotten this harness sooner. It's light weight, fits perfect, she has not chewed it even once. I think because if how unobtrusive it is she doesn't even seem to notice it's on. The front clip works well to redirect when she pulls on walks, the safety handle is helpful and she can NOT slip this harness.She has thick, longer fur and sometimes she would get tangles in her fur where the harness had been but she has not had 1 tangle with this harness. I've hand washed the harness a few times and it comes out looking brand new.Overall, very, VERY happy with this harness. It has saved me money as I'm not buying a new harness every few weeks. My only regret is I wish I had gotten it sooner.

I had expectations because we have some other ruffwear items. The straps and clips are not as thick or as large as other ruffwear harnesses of the same size. This new design is very lightweight fabric. The handle is located in a good spot and the under piece gives support when lifting or assisting with mobility. It is comfortable and light for all day wear. Easy to take on and off with clips on both sides, no need to step into it, which is important if you have an unsteady senior. It does the job and seems to be sturdy. I would have liked to see the thicker straps and clips, but it seems to work fine as is.

Love this harness. Very secure, easy on and off with double buckles and very strong yet lightweight.

This is for my 10-month-old cattle dog mix who outgrew his previous harness. I did a bit of research and am overall happy with this purchase. It fits well and there is still room for him to grow. He doesn’t mind having it on and hasn’t tried to chew on it (which is great because he is still trying to chew through just about everything). It works great with his “seat belt” for car rides. I am confident he can’t escape from it. I do wish the front leash attachment was metal, which would seem more reliable and durable to me. He pulls a lot and that’s the leash attachment location he needs for walks and hikes. He is around 55 pounds and I ordered a medium.

You do not want to get this harness unless you have a light dog. They said if you were between sizes, get the smaller size. No way, I got the bigger size and it still just barely fit. To lift your dog would be very uncomfortable for your dog. Too little support and the straps were too skinny. Very unhappy with this harness, I will send it back

This product seems very well made and is very sturdy. I have an aggressive male dog who is a Houdini when it comes to harnesses. The handle on the back and the extra adjustable strap have helped me be able to socialize him more to help him get over his fear in a safe manner. I do have to make sure the last buckle is adjusted well, otherwise his male parts can get the harness dirty. 10/10 would buy again. Has been worth it.

This harness was easy to fit to my dog. It appears to be lightweight and comfortable for him, and provides me with a handle to assist him up and down stairs and other objects.

Sehr schönes leichtes Geschirr, für mein Rottweiler Mischling leider zu klein, deswegen ging zurück.

just buy it ,its good harness

I'm sure this is a nice harness...but....I measured my dog, and chose the medium harness since it would fit up to 32 inches and my dog is 31 inches. But when I received the harness, there was no way it would fit. The harness, at it's max, only measured 27 inches. I double checked that I didn't get a small...but it was labeled clearly as a medium. Beware of sizing on this product! Only one star based on the sizing errors

I purchased this in March 2023. Picture taken November 10, 2023. I had harness for total of 8 months and loop is fraying- safety concerns. Very disappointed with product.
