The only "negative" is that the basket is fairly shallow, making it basically mandatory to clean it after every shower, or it'll seem as if there's a clog -- but it shows how good it is at stopping hair, soap residue, etc. Nothing gets through. (Just yesterday, I was in a hurry and forgot to. The family member who showered after me didn't before or after,just saying "it needs to be cleaned, because it's backing up" (*eye roll*),and this morning the water was still kept at bay).I also like that the rim is thicker/heavier than many comparable products out there. It stays firm against the drain no matter the amount of water flowing against it

I love this! It works perfectly! The trick is to use it with a larger holed hair catcher to keep it from clogging too fast. I have it in my tub and use a silicone hair catcher on top of it. I have very long hair and shed a LOT when I wash it. I saw some complaints about the holes being too small and thought using them both and it works!

I've used these for a few months now = they aren't terrible, but I find it awkward to clean out. Something about silicone never feels clean and sanitized.
