If fell in love with this printed fabric at a vintage and antique "boot" (trunk) sale in an English village one Sunday morning and knew that I had to have it for handbags. The fabric in the bag is 100% cotton. The ticking is a sturdy cotton canvas. The bag has been machine quilted for form and strength. The bottom of the purse is gusseted for extra inner space. This tote bag is fully lined and has a large inner pocket. I appliqued the cotton print onto the ticking and embellished the front of the bag with linen lace and wooden buttons. The closure on the bag is a loop a vintage button closure. The double straps on this bag are long enough you can carry the bag as a shoulder bag if you wish. If you are looking for a new handbag that will make a statement this is the bag you are looking for. Do you have a sassy friend that need special gift?
