Overall, I'm happy with these laces. They seem durable and the price is good. The only negative, and it may apply to me only, is that they are a tiny bit more stretchy than I was expecting, and since my athletic shoes don't have eyelets, but rather just holes, the laces grab on a little too tightly, so that they don't easily slide to make the shoes easier to pull on. On the other hand, I would imagine that the grab might make it so they are less likely to untie as you wear them. They are inexpensive, which is good since I will likely only use one of the pairs.

The deep red I got is as described. I had thought for a while to change the look of my Red Wing boots but was afraid the brightness of coloured laces might be too loud for me. When I saw a deep red option, I took a chance and wasn’t disappointed. The colour is “dull” so that suits me. The laces are new so I can’t vouch for their toughness or longevity. I will update when they have proven themselves. One nice surprise is that I received 2 pairs. I don’t think it was advertised as such so that was nice. It meant they were half the price that I agreed to pay for. I would recommend it for its good value.
