Q: I'm confused by some of the reviews...is this item 20 individual papad in 1 package or 20 packages of papad? tia

well the correct answer is that there are 20 packs ( a lot of papadoms) however when i ordered I was actually sent 1 individual packet ( Amazon immediately corrected however and I received the correct 20-packet in a couple of days) so you are right, its confusing enough that the vendor shipped the wrong item.

Q: Do these contain traces of wheat or gluten? (I know that wheat is not listed as an ingredient, but some poppadoms "may contain wheat").

Looks like they are located in Bandra, a suburb of Mumbai. There is no warning on the label about any traces. With items from India though, you never know, they are not as strict with label laws.

Q: how many papadums in a serving? Is this true for all types?

its actually how much you wanna eat. i cant remember the exact serving because i bought and ate them a while now., however one would suffice me most of the time. others have their preference, as the the other types i suppose the same apply. i have not eaten the others . hope this helps
