Carhartt Men's Rain Defender Relaxed Fit Lightweight Jacket

The fit is great and it does keep you dry. It's not too heavy, cuts the wind, and has plenty of usable pockets. It's well made and just what I was looking for in a light rain jacket.

This jacket fit just like I expected. If you have purchased Carhartt jackets before, this one has the same fit as the rest. Ordering the size I always wear, it has enough room in it that I can put a sweetshirt under it if needed. The jacket as a two draw strings around the waste one on each hip also there is a mesh liner around the inside of the body of the jacket but not in the sleeves, there are two snaps on each cuff. The hood also has the mesh liner in it, the hood does not come off the jacket & it's not possible to roll the hood up too tuck it in the collar like on some of my other jackets. I bought this jacket for keeping the wind and light rain off of me & its been great for that, if you like Carhart stuff and you are looking for a light jacket you can't beat this one.

So far, nothing not to like. Perfect weight/heft, great (relaxed) fit, length just right, nice zipper and overall design/material. Haven’t used in rain yet, but Carhartt is a reputable brand and most people keep this jacket.

This jacket is very lightweight so it's perfect for packing, plenty of pockets, 2 normal pockets, 1 breast pocket, and 2 internal pockets. All pockets zip Accept the right internal pocket which has Velcro. In terms of water resistance id say it is as advertised its not your best option if you're going to be out in the rain all day but if you get caught in rain while you're out and about you'll be able to get to shelter before having to worry about getting soaked. Breathability on this jacket leaves a little bit to be desired but it really isn't a problem. All in all great jacket

My husband wears a M in Carhartt shirts, so I ordered him a L to account for room to move around in the jacket, whether wearing long/shirt sleeves under and/or multiple layers. However, L was still a little too form-fitting, so we exchanged for a XL. Fits great with plenty of wiggle room now.

The fit is true to size, comfortable, lightweight and was a great gift for my dad for christmas. The zippers work great.

Even though it’s not made in the USA it’s still a great fit and quality. Unlike other brands made in Asia this Carhartt is true to size. The zipper is strong and on the correct side. It has a very thin liner so on cold days it needs to be worn over a sweater.

I like the jacket, have lost a bit of weight so needed to order a smaller one. Good quality but WHY put such a sticky label on the sleeve?? I’ll try to carefully remove the gum left behind but if it risks me damaging it i will be sending it back.

Habe in sehr vielen Rezensionen gelesen, man solle die Jacke lieber eine Nummer kleiner nehmen!? Zum Glück tat ich es nicht! Ich trage die L (1,85 groß, sportlich schlank). Die Jacke in Größe L passt bequem. Sie soll ja auch nicht Hauteng sein?! Ansonsten: Farbe, Muster, Qualität entsprechen genau der Beschreibung. Das Paket kam auch schon nach zwei Tagen.👍

This jacket has a tag on the arm that isn't shown in the picture. Makes the jacket look tacky.
