Review: Faulty Lids and missing valve - Two lids don’t vacuum seal. One lid was missing a valve. Contacted the seller, who did not message back. Review: Great Lids, but faulty Pump - The lids are great and the vacuum seals work as asvertised...but the pump does not. It stopped working after 2 days of use and does no longer suck the air out. No way to spot the error and repair as the pump can't be disassembled. A replacement pump (only the old version availabe) costs a whooping 22 Euros here in Germany... That's crazy for such a cheap piece of plastic. Already spent close to 100 Euros on the 12 lid set. In this price range one would expect quality on all parts... If I cant find a cheap replacement for the pump, I got to write the lids off as a failed investment as their main feature is useless without it...

Where have these been?? (Updated)
These lids are the best thing invented, especially with the automatic pump. Man o man!! Can't wait for harvest! *** update *** These lids are not the best thing invented. Very cool idea to help with curing but the lids are very very tight once put on. I didn't tighten them when I filed them, next day the lids need the jaws of life to come off. 🤦🏻♂️ have to use crazy strength to get the lids off the jars, I'm going back to regular lids. Sending these back!

Doesn’t work, waste of money
The way these “work” is that you are pumping air into a closed system, which increases the air pressure inside the jar, then you open the system to release the air pressure. You aren’t exchanging air, you are diluting old air with fresh air. That is if they even work, and mine did not. There is a hole in the center of the lid with a rubber piece over it. You put the pump on this piece to pump air into the jar. The problem is that the rubber piece doesn’t actually form a seal, so it isn’t a closed system. You’ll pump all day and never exchange any air. The pump does not pull air out of the jar. Also, since it doesn’t actually form a seal, the aroma seeps out of the jar. And the product in the jar dries up. Completely defeating the purpose of using the jars. Waste of money, does not work

Ingenuity
That machine loses power and not enough seals for the amount of jars. The pump did better but sucked
