This is one of my favorite toys as well as my dog's favorite. My dog is a 20# welsh terrier, I do rotate his toys to keep things interesting but this one is hard to put away because we all enjoy it. We've had it 6 months so far and not a single rip or tear. Initially I bought it because of the snuffle pockets, after a dozen snuffles the felt stretched and the kibble falls out pretty easily but it does still work.What I love about this snake is how strong it is. I know my dog isn't very big but he is ferocious when it comes to tug games and I am happy to report this toy survived his puppy teeth. Its a great length for tug. He likes the crinkle paper in the tail but the dual squeakers are really the icing on the cake as we often take turns squeaking at each other.

My dog loves this toy - it does everything: crinkle, squeaks, the head is ball shaped so it can even be used to fetch. My dog is only 16 lbs - so it is very large for her, but that is my fault not a problem with the product. Great toy!

My dog loves it and it’s so cute. We rotate it out with her snuggle mat. My dog doesn’t tear up her toys so I don’t know if it’ll be good for a dog that does. The only negative is that the Velcro wears out quickly. It used to take her a while to undo the legs but now she barely has to do anything to get them open.

My dog appears to be very quick at understanding the various puzzles and stimulation toys. He seems to need higher level of these toys. This one he just ate all the treats and ripped off the arms in a matter of minutes. I would say do not get if your dog is a stuffed toy destroyer.

Rated 4 out of 5 because the openings for the food pieces/treats are small and the material did tear a bit (but the rips were needed)…My dog struggles a bit to get the food pieces out so he ripped the holes a little bit bigger to actually get the pieces. The toy “gets the job done” by keeping him occupied for awhile. If I could make one change: make the holes bigger and velcro the holes!

This toy does not have any Velcro as advertised. As a result, it’s impossible to roll the tentacle/legs up. The rest of the toy is as shown, but for the price, I would not have bought this.

My dog loves this toy! I hide the treats and he loves getting them out of the legs. He plays with it all the time and seems to be his favorite toy. My dog is small so it's easy for him to handle. It may be a bit small for a larger dog.

EDIT: Had previously given this toy 5 stars and a glowing review of how much our puppy loved it. Well she finally destroyed it, but it's a fairly durable toy, so we ordered another, since she had grown to love the puzzle aspect as well as its use as a tug toy. Feb 2023 - reordered this same item, and this time, there is no velcro on the legs. So it doesn't function as intended. Also there are no squeakers, so it's just not as fun. It seems the defect has been a recent and hopefully limited problem. So will request a replacement and hope for one that resembles the one we got in summer 2022. Will update back to 5 stars if that is the case!Our puppy loves this octopus. It has a lot of squeakers, is crinkly, and pretty big. She prefers to play with it instead of using it as the puzzle it's intended to be. She generally is not a very destructive chewer so we can't really put the durability to the test, but it has withstood many games of tug and some chewing on the pockets. Also washes well!
