No! this is a Martian Spacecraft just like the listing says. With a 8.5 meter diameter this baby runs on a 120v battery. Max speed is 150 light years per hour. The integrated clamp/claw is for catching Earth type airplanes by the wings and taking them back to Mars. I ordered 3 crashed the first into a bridge the second I tried to clamp onto a US F-18 but I was shot down by his wingman, great ejection seat at least! My third craft and my combined 37 hours flying allowed me to successfully clamp onto flight MH370 and I returned to Mars with it... Could you use for chicks

I have used one for many years to keep chicks warm. Use a 75 or 100 watt bulb, if rated for 100 watts, and keep the lamp down low. As the chicks grow, raise the lamp and reduce the wattage. Be sure to use an incandescent bulb because LED bulbs do not emit enough heat to warm the chicks. Do not use a heat lamp bulb unless you use a fireproof (metal) brooder and have the light about 3 feet away, according to the lamp's guidelines. Also you must have a ceramic socket, not a plastic one. I do not use a heat lamp bulb on any chicks, but then I live in the South where it is beginning to get warm in March/April. If you live in the cold North, then I can't give you an answer.
