The batteries work good. The charger is nice. Urs always good to have extra batteries

I was not sure about these due to some negative reviews, but they are just fine. I conducted a test of the two batteries which I will list the results below. One of the issues folks seem to have his seating the battery in the charger. This can be slightly challenging. The charger itself is a universal charger. I have one just like it for my Canon D70 and batteries. The only difference is the sleeve that adapts the charger to fit these particular batteries. The adapter sleeve can come loose when removing the batteries, but it snaps back in place just as the batteries snap in when charging. Otherwise, this set works flawlessly and as advertised. Tested using a Sony HDR-CX230 HD HandyCam. I charged both batteries to full capacity and then set the camera to record and let it continue recording until the battery fully died. I did not stop the recording, the dead battery stopped recording. Also, I recorded using MP4 HD format. Battery 1 - 2 Hours and 15 Minutes recording Battery 2 - 2 Hours and 27 Minutes reocrding OUTSTANDING for this price! Do not hesitate buying these!

The batteries seem to work fine, although I have not tested them to see how long they last. They do not fit into the provided charger very well but they do go in, and they charge. They charge inside the camera just fine. The little European power adapter is a piece of plastic junk. But the biggest thrill of all was getting a microfiber lens-cleaning cloth with my purchase. I didn't even know I was going to get a microfiber cloth! That made my whole day. Imagine the thrill of opening up a box that's supposed to contain a couple of batteries and getting your very own microfiber cleaning cloth.

I purchased a sony CX220 camcorder from Amazon and wanted a backup battery. I found this item on the site and it had good reviews. We have used both batteries to tape volleyball games and they have worked great. They actually last longer than the one that came with the camera. The charger is a little flimsy but works great. It is a little hard to seat the batteries in the charger but after you get the hang of it you will have no problem. I would recommend this to others.

At first I was a little apprehensive about this product since folks were saying they had problems inserting the batteries into the charger. I gave the product a try and found that if you read the instructions you won't have a problem. All you have to do is compress the spring loaded locking tab and the battery goes right in. The batteries last as long or a little longer than the battery that came with my camera. I am very satisfied with the product and the speed of shipment.

When I first received the order one of the batteries malfunctioned. Big Mikes was extremely quick to replace it and so far so good. Since I just started using the batteries I can't tell you about their longevity. They seem to be holding on to their charge a little longer than the original battery but that may be because they are new. Still, I got two batteries and a charger for less than the cost on a new Sony battery so it's worth taking a chance.

I gave the charger 1 star because, the batteries were hard to connect to the charger. They just did not want to snap into place. I got one battery charged up (light came on) and removed it from the charger. Connected the 2nd battery to be charged and the light never came back on. I left it in the charger for 2 hrs., just in case to see if it would still charge. Two hrs. later and the battery was not charged up. So I put in another battery that I already had to charge it up, no light and it never charged. I wanted to return it but because it was a bundle, I would have had to return everything. I needed to use my camcorder soon, so I just trashed the charger and keep the 2 batteries, which was a good deal and cheaper together on line, than buying 1 at Best Buy. I just was excited and expected it to last longer than 1 day and 1 battery charged.

This is a great deal for 2 batteries! I use them a lot with my camcorder and they work as well as the original battery. They charge quickly and fit the camera perfectly. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a battery for their Sony camcorder.
