Q: How well could this function on rifles with muzzle brakes or flash suppressors? I don't trust the opening on a muzzle brake to be perfectly concentric

This unit relies on a pretty concentric barrel end (be it muzzle, muzzle brake, or flash suppressor) to be maximally accurate. However, on a typical setup, it is definitely close enough to get you "on paper" reliably. This is especially true if you use their software to print weapon-specific sighting patterns. I recently sighted my 7mm Rem Mag to within 2 MOA at 200 yards. However, I have found that the part of the device that goes into the barrel is too short to actually reach the barrel with big muzzle brakes (like on my 338 Lapua). In that case, you're better off removing the brake and laser sighting, then reinstalling the brake.

Q: There are guides on youtube on dry firing with boresighters. I wondered if it's OK to do that with Glock 19 (it has 4 in. barrel) and the SL - 500?

You'd best lock back the slide and see if the Site Lite protrudes far enough into the chamber to cause a problem. This dry firing is riskyat best. I've read more than one person whose Site Lite fell out of the barrel because of human error.

The front cone of the laser will center itself in the muzzle break or flash hider. The purpose of any bore sighter is to just get you on paper at 25 or 50 yards. You then sight in the rifle at whatever distance you choose so if the hole in the muzzle break is not perfectly centered or out of round it really doesn't make any difference. I use one of these to bore sight rifles for customers and due to space restrictions I have to bore sight at about 20 feet. I have never had a customer come back saying the sights were very far off.

Q: Will the O rings work with 300 Blackout or 300 Ham'r?

Yes, it comes with .30 cal. O rings. I've used it to sight in my .308 and my 2 223s. It works perfectly.
