KEENWomen's Newport H2 Closed Toe Water Sandal

Best water shoe I've found
This is my 4th pair of Newport Keens in 25 years. I love them, they last, they are comfortable and so easy for water sports. I wear size 8.5 and they run true to size. This pair is strangely tighter than previous pairs that had a lot of space to cynch up. So getting them on/off is a little harder since they are not as roomy as previous pairs.

Sold. Probably for life.
Didn't try Keen for a long time because I think they are not cute. Reeeeally wish I had tried them 10 years ago when my SIL told me to. Needed a closed toe, secure, ventilated deck shoe to learn to sail. These are perfect and ridiculously comfortable. Full support with a little squish (just the right amount) and a roomy toe box.

Clerical error
This item was received the following day - fits great - had these Keen sandals before - sturdy and comfortable. However, today I received a message from Amazon that my package with the same tracking number saying my package was left by front screen door. The description of the two items inside were not what I had ordered and or had received and is not on my amazon order list. I had been browsing at the two items but didn't purchase them. The package that was left did contain the sandals that I had ordered.

Keen sandals
I have been a Teva sandal girl for a very long time. The last 2 pairs I purchased simply did not last. Was looking for a replacement. These Keen sandals are pretty close. I had to purchase a size bigger than I normally wear so I feel they run small. They also rub on my little toe, but I do have wide feet. I put them in my cart and watched for the price to come down which it did a little. I probably wouldn't have purchased the blue but they were the cheapest. Only half a season on them; we will see how they stand up.

Excellent walking and hiking shoe!
Best walking shoes I have ever owned. This is the third (different color) pair I have owned. Wore the other two pair in over 25 countries, plus I walk on a regular basis, and they lasted for more years than I can remember. The wide toe really helps my foot problems. Practically dragged a friend of mine into the shoe store to try on a pair after she complained of foot problems. Every time I see her she is wearing them and thanks me for the tip

Creek crawling shoes
The media could not be loaded. Perfect for creek crawling and searching for fossils on the gravel bars. Comfortable right out of the box. Excellent arch support. Water drains from shoes quickly. The covered toe box is perfect for my hobby of rock hunting in creeks and rocky terrain. Great grip on slimy, wet rocks. Fast delivery. You can’t ask for more!

They Hurt
They look fine. My toes have plenty of room. They are true to size and my foot fit well with one exception. I have a high instep and there is no way to loosen them up far enough to stop the painful red indentions they cause in the top of my foot. I can usually trust Keen, but not this time.

Love these! Be prepared to size up
The media could not be loaded. These are fantastic and well worth the price over a less expensive brand/version of this style. This is the third pair of Keen Newport H2’s I’ve owned over the past 15 years. The sole will eventually wear down and become quite slick on the bottom, but you’ll get several years of use out of them before then. I have wide feet with slight bunions on my big toes, and these sandals put no pressure on it. They drain quickly and the extra large toe cap is a lifesaver, especially if you are wearing them where are rocks are present in the water. You can kick a concrete wall with the tip of the shoes and your toes won’t feel a thing. The molded foot bed is extremely comfortable and has a scooped out heel cup that keeps your foot stable. These are so comfortable. I ran 6 miles on pavement in them once and my feet were perfectly fine afterwards, no blisters. Would not be my day-to-day running shoe, but they perform in a pinch; great for just walking around in also. The toggle strap is fantastic, no laces to deal with. I normally wear a size 9 in a fashion/street shoe but usually find that I have to size of a full size in any type of athletic shoe. I ordered the 9.5 this time because of the reviews said that they ran true to size (I tossed my old pair out before I could confirm what size they were.) Even though I can get my foot in the 9.5 with no discomfort my experience tells me that my toes appreciate the extra room when I am on vertical services since one’s foot has a tendency to slide forward especially if it’s in wet conditions. I’m returning for the size 10 anyway, I’m excited to receive them prior to an upcoming trip on the river. The fjord blue tie-dye pattern is super bright and fun though I could easily see this as a unisex color.Update: I received the size 10 replacements before I was able to return the 9.5. The tens actually turned out to be a little bit too big so I’m keeping the 9.5 and returning the size 10
