Absolutely it can. It's a really great pot. I normally use a billy can but I love the spout on this

What is the Internal width of this pot please

Hi. Internal dimensions are 12cm diameter and 14cm depth. The steamer is 3.5 cm deep and sits cleanly inside on a safe lip. So, you get 9cm of cooking depth below the steamer. The lid is great with nice easy locking clips so you can pour while it’s locked on. All in all, my best wild camping pot. Just remember oven gloves. 😊 Hope that helps.
