Boom Boom! Popular Movie and TV Songs for Boomwhackers Musical Tubes: For Boomwhackers(R) Musical Tubes, Book & CD

Bought the Book to go with the boomwhackers I got for my 13 year old grandson for Christmas. It has sheet music and CD at the back to listen to the songs and tempo. Wish it had the color coding with the notes like the beginner books. The beginner books music seemed too babyish for a 13 year old(ex: Row, Row, your boat) He is in the school band so maybe he can figure out the notes. Hopefully it can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Used with camp kids, they enjoyed the music on the DVD and grasped the ideas quickly. I couldn't get too involved in the short span I had them

This is to replace the one that got destroyed. I use this for my keyboard.. it's basically a guideline. But one word of warning; the FULL SONG is NOT included unlike the 1st edition ones. For example, Gilligan's Island - only has the 1st part of the theme song and does not include the Ending portion of the theme song.

looking forward to using some of the songs in the book for teaching music via boom whackers at our local senior center.

I haven't officially used this book in class yet, but I did go through it, and i thought ---wow, this is more of an accompaniment book. I play the piano while the boomwhakers provide bass notes, etc. Needless to say, i'm a little disappointed. I wanted the students playing the melody--not me. I will probably adjust the songs so that we can do this, but for the price, the description should be clearer and so should the parts.

Too hard for my students.
