My family's microwave started malfunctioning. We believe someone in the household put something metal in the microwave causing the waveguard to become damaged. Nevertheless, it was sparking like crazy. Since the microwave is only a year old, it was two days out of warranty. Did some google searching and came across this product. Package arrived and no one, including me, had any faith it would work. Wasn't an exact fit but close enough to where I could trim the tabs a bit. Replaced the damaged waveguard with this product. Microwave fired right up. No more sparking at all. It's working as intended. This product actually works. For how long, time will tell.

This waveguide is great! I had sparking inside my microwave and my initial thought was to get a new microwave. This fits well with my Hamilton microwave although, it was tad bit bigger. I just had to cut a little bit to make perfectly fit and lo and behold my microwave is working well.

My microwave started sparking and I found that the little plate inside was cracked. My microwave is only a year old and was disappointed thinking I had to buy a new one. Then I got the idea to check on Amazon and blow and behold they had replacement ones! So I bought them. Took 10 seconds to install it and it solved the problem! Yay. Saved me a lot of money, time, and effort from having to buy a new microwave oven.

Very easy to install and worked as specified.

I purchased these after my old wave guide became damaged, causing arcing within the unit. (I have a small Comfee microwave, if that info is helpful to anyone here.) These popped right in and I didn't even have to cut them. I also didn't have to punch a hole at the bottom so the plastic peg in my microwave would hold the wave guide in place -- it stayed on its own. Now my microwave works perfectly again!These are very good quality, quite sturdy. I'm glad they come in a pack of five so I can have them on hand if/when this happens again in the future.

Different from the original material. When I touched it, there was some gold glitter on my hand.This mica sheet is thicker than others.
