Massive Air Movement
I use these in my greenhouse, and boy do they move money. We needed a 120V solution for air circulation, and thus couldn't go with HAF fans like Schaefer fans. These fit the bill, having such a crazy high CFM rating at 1.5 amps.At full speed, holy moly do they get the air moving. We replaced a bunch of cheap Hurricane classic fans that run 0.5 amps.At 3x the power consumption, these are moving 11x as much air. And you can really feel it.Installation is extremely easy, though the instructions aren't super clear about every little detail.Screw the back plate to the motor, screw the blade to the motor hub, then snap the front housing onto the back housing. Don't forget that little screw at the bottom. Line up the "prong" of the front housing up at the top, with the logo of the fan centered, and then screw the tiny screw that's already installed into the back housing from the factory into the front, screwing the two housings together. Then snap the clips along the sides together. The mounting arm is easy enough to install as well, and very self explanatory. Two bolts, one big, another small, and threaded. Install them, but keep the smaller bolt un-torqued until you have the fan mounted on your wall so you can set the angle of the fan. I run them straight with no down tilt. The reviews mentioning about concrete walls are false. The instructions do mention it, but that's just silly. These fans have 3 big holes on the mounting pole. 3 long screws with washers on them, bolted into a stud, is more than adequate.I wouldn't trust shooting them into drywall anchors, but even plywood walls would be fine.Very happy.Of course they are loud. They are giant, move a stupid amount of air. They are going to make a lot of noise. That being said, keep in mind that a fan at this size making this much CFM will produce a lot less noise than a smaller fan producing the same amount of CFM.I can't really comment on noise as I run them at full blast in an environment where noise doesn't matter whatsoever. I can say however that yes, these are 100% for commercial use. They are big, loud, move insane amounts of air, and are definitely not meant for any sort of residential use. If you're concerned about noise, this probably isn't the correct fan for your application anyways.

Nice fan
Not real loud. Perfect for a shop. Moves plenty of air.

Moves a ton of air, but not very quiet
This fan definitely can move some air! I installed it on my back patio area and it moves plenty of air to keep us cool while we're outside. I like the pull chain, 3 speed variable fan motor option. I have noticed on occasion when i pull the chain to sequence through the speeds, it will sometimes just turn off instead of advancing to the next speed. Not a huge issue, but it's not right either. I would have given 5 stars but it's just so dang loud! We have to raise our voices slightly to hear the other person talking and we're about 25' away from the fan. Advancing fan speeds only increases the noise level. Otherwise, it's a great fan. Very well built and solid. No cheap metal on this fan!

Great airflow
Ordered two of these, but given the size and volume of air, one was more than enough in our 15' x 30' shop. The oscillating feature allows it keep air flowing across the shop! I was a little apprehensive to assemble but the instructions were straightforward. Had it assembled within 10 minutes. Once we decided where to place/install the mount it was pretty quick and easy. This was a great addition to the shop!

Cools entire garage in minutes.
I installed this up high in my garage with a 30 minute timer. The garage is often too hot for me to work in, and I thought I'd have to get it air conditioned. But this fan blows all the hear out in about 10 minutes. Of coarse it's not going to make it cold or anything. But it makes a huge difference. Yes, it's a little noisy, but not to the extent that you have to raise your voice when speaking or anything. I like the extra long pull chain. That's a good touch, even though I don't actually use it. It was a little clumsy to install, I would suggest having a second person on a second ladder, but I was able to do it myself in about 30 minutes total, from opening the box, to enjoying the breeze. Thanks for a great product.

Died
Worked great for a while then died. It will run for a few minutes then shutdown. Then tries to restart but dies again. Motor is bad.

Summers are getting hotter, just do it!
Having decent fans around the shop are worth every penny. You'll wonder why you waited so long.

Broken after 45 days use
Oscillating feature is poorly constructed obviously. I bought two of these and absolutely loved them until now. They’ve both only been in use no more than 45 days and already one has failed. Expected better with a 4. rating on Amazon.
