They do not absorb, they aren't supposed to do that; they prevent moisture from getting on the furniture. My only complaint was that they were too flexible, which didn't work for me, on my antiques. However, they WILL be perfect for summer drinks on the porch!! And that's where they are and that's where they shall remain!

Using these as coasters, but will probably also use them as trivets for my table. They seem very versatile-can even open jars with them. Fair price.

Didn't like them at all. Too Floppy. When you hold them with a couple of fingers from one hand, they don't stay straight, they flop over, so if you have moisture on it, the wetness in the coaster will spill onto the table.I thought they would be made of a harder material so they would stay straight when you pick it up.

They do what they are designed for well. They are thinner than my old ones though.

These black silicone coasters (set of 6) work in every room! I have some in living room, bar and bedrooms. They are large enough for every glass or mug in your inventory and have recesses to capture moisture and keep it off your surfaces!They are heat resistant and easy to clean! An inexpensive investment to protect your valuable furniture!

These coasters work great on wood and glass! They do not slide around. The coaster holder is a really nice feature. Highly recommended!
