Good hammer for the money.
Just getting into rockhounding a little bit and needed some hammers. These seem really good for the money and I have hammered some shtuff with them and they are holding up great. Nice size and weight to them and the grip feels good in the hand.

Great durability, needs hole in the shaft for easier hauling
As I delve deeper into my rock hounding obsession, the need to find the right rock pick for my needs became paramount! I found this 2 pack and it has held up really well. The fine tipped side makes it perfect for wedging open the super thin layers of shale when searching for fossils. I have used it to crack open geodes on occasion as well. The top heaviness of it makes striking a breeze with minimal effort. It really does hold up well. Two complaints: It does get a little bit heavy if you are carrying it in your hand or small bag for a period of time ... That could probably easily be solved if it had a hole through the shaft (it doesn't have this) so you could attach it to a carabiner on a tether. Pros: durability, nice fine tip for separating rock layers Cons: on the heavier side (keep this in mind with respect to hauling during long treks), lacks a hole through the shaft which would make hand-free hauling a possibility

I am very happy with these hammers. I use them for Rock hounding and they have a good balance for me. They are nice and bright so I can find them if I put them down.
