I've had 4 soundbars (3 samsung) and this has to be the best 2.1 I've had yet!If you are short on space, a minimalist or don't want to spend a ton of money, this is the soundbar for you. Every room is different, so when it comes to adjusting the sound quality, it's fast and easy to do. You get crisp highs and pretty decent lows with great rear and and center sound.

This is a cheap solution for poor tv sound. It is very limited in ability to adjust the quality of sound and lacks in connections only to be used with optical or bluetooth equipment. Spend a little more and get the B550, you won’t be disappointed.

I purchased (from Costco) a tv earlier this year. I was very pleased with the tv and it was a happy purchase. I am older and a little hard of hearing so I looked on Amazon for a soundbar as they provide a better listening experience for me. However, it turns out that the tv model I bought is a 2020 model and the soundbar is a 2022 model. This means that there has been an update so now I can turn the soundbar on and off but if I try to control the volume it will only mute the soundbar. I now need to get up and go across the room and do any volume control on the top of the soundbar itself. Just be aware that there may be a problem if you get a tv and soundbar that they are compatible with each other even though they are the same company. I like the tv and if it worked correctly (were compatible) I would like the soundbar also. Live and learn I guess. I rated this low because of the poor experience I had. Even with the samsung tech I talked to when she told me the 2 systems were incompatible. Sorry about the vent.Dennis2nd review a month later: I let this sit for a couple of weeks, burning up every time I saw it. Yesterday I looked up the questions and reviews on it again. I noticed a couple of answers to questions talking about the bluetooth ability. I went to my samsung tv and found the bluetooth app. I paired it to the new soundbar and they connected! I have no excuse for not trying that before so my bad. The soundbar now works and when I use the tv remote (not the soundbar remote) I can control the sound from across the room now. I am now much happier and upped my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. Not a 5 star because of the problems I originally had, especially the Samsung rep that did not even try to get me to look for the bluetooth feature on my Samsung tv. TLDR: try bluetooth if the optical cable does not play well with the soundbar remote-just remember volume control for the tv must be used.

One of my worst experiences purchasing electronics through Amazon. First off, the shipping time was changed from 2 days to 1 week, which is not a big deal since shipments may be delayed on occasion. However once the sound bar did arrive I noticed a small gash near the packaging housing the sub woofer, and it was then I realized there was possible damage done during the shipment. So I unpacked the sound bar, and to my surprise it was good, no visible signs of damage, and the sub woofer was in good shape as well. Long story short, installation was easy, and the sound quality was great, then after 1 hour it just turned off...and just like that, it was dead. I double checked everything top to bottom, made sure the menu selections were correct, switched power outlets to be on the safe side and still nothing, no sound, no power. I can't say for sure if it was a manufacture defect or shipment damage, either way I returned asap and got my refund. Overall for a samsung product I was unfortunately surprised at how fast the product failed, I'm still going to buy Samsung products but probably not through Amazon.

Does exactly what I needed it to do.

I was worried after seeing all of the bad reviews but I've had mine for a few days now and I've had no issues whatsoever. I love my bass and this definitely delivers, the Bluetooth is easy to connect and the setup wasn't hard at all I've had no problems with the remote and it sounds great with the optical cable in my TV. I'd personally recommend it!
