Q: Photos all show the towel warmer with a mat underneath. does the warmer get hot to the touch and, most especially, over the floor?

Mine is in the tile shower floor. I have a large shower, so water hitting it is not a concern. It does not need to be on a mat. Heats up quickly and is great!

Q: The timer on mine will not change from 15 minutes is there a way to override that?
