Chandigarh Revealed: Le Corbusier's City Today Hardcover – April 4, 2017

What was once a dream and utopia still commands respect and impresses with scale, proportions, and execution. But age, human appropriation, and politics also took its toll and transformed this great work. Shaun captures this contrast and transformation beautifully and the introduction and commentary complete the picture of what Chandigarh is today. With travel still being restricted by the pandemic this book is the next best thing to visiting, although no tourist would be allowed this level of access, anyway. This is a permanent coffee table fixture for this ex-architect and an individual who has always prioritized space for an enlarger over room for clothes. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Chandigarh Revealed is exquisite in every way. Beautifully photographed, with Shaun Fynn's unprecedented access and insider knowledge of the city. A must-have for anyone interested in architecture and the profound history behind it.
