Made in Germany, quality product
I had been using SONAX stuffs for years, so I trust the brand and this quality product is made in Germany, not some Chinese off brands. Its not much more expensive than random Chinese brands on Amazon, but I still decided to give it a try, and I was not disappointed.Using this is definitely much cheaper (under $60) than getting a professional ceramic coating done. I don't expect it to be the same as a $3k job but for me, this is "good enough". It is still quite a bit of work and elbow grease, but it is definitely DIY-able.I applied this on a brand new Toyota, here are my steps:1) Use a light polish to clean up the whole vehicle, body, glass, wheels; the surface should be absolutely "clean" before the sealing2) Then apply the "BaseCoat" with the included microfiber cloth wrapping the included small sponge applicator #13) Working in small section at a time, letting the "BaseCoat" dry for up to a minute, and quickly wipe the surface off of any excess and also polish the newly sealed/coated surface with a clean microfiber cloth4) Allow the "BaseCoat" to cure and bond with the surface overnight5) Apply the "GrossCoat" with the included large sponge applicator #26) Again, working in small area, right after I apply the "GrossCoat", I wipe/polish the surface with a clean microfiber clothI treated all the surfaces - the body, the glass, the lights and the wheels. The result is gorgeous. I gave a deep, deep shiny. Hopefully this will last for a while.UPDATE:It had been 6+ months, and the car had gone thru 10000mi including a couple of road trips. The coating seems to be holding up. Subsequent washing is easy, water beads up, and the surfaces dried easily. After the washing, I just use a quick spray on wax on the vehicle, and the deep shines come back again.Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

Read the Instructions!
I love the end result of this product. I wanted to protect my wife's new Porsche and all she said is don't F....up my car. Being a guy, and one who needs no instructions. I went right at it. I put the first layer all over the car before trying to rub it off. BIG MISTAKE!!! Then in a panic I read the instructions. It said Do little areas at a time ( 30 seconds-1 minuet worth of application at a time), it took the streaks right out and began to look like I dodged a bullet. My wife is redheaded and I would have been killed slowly over the next four years of the car loan. I could just see it, FULL BOLTON! But, the instructions were well done, it came out well, It took a few hours, with a three beer/ one hour cure time waiting period to including the second coat. It looks great!!! Beyond great, like a glass finish. I was told about this product by name from a Porsche mechanic at the dealership. He said they charge over a $1000 for this treatment. I was very proud I avoided disaster and it Shined as advertised. It looks awesome!!! Had a great night that night, wife was very appreciative ;) !!!

2 plus years later and the water still beads like freshly waxed!
I realized I hadn't written a review for this great product as I was preparing to order MORE to treat my new truck. The application is easy enough but must be done per instructions. If you follow the instructions, particularly on a new vehicle it will amaze you at how long it lasts and protects your paint. This is comparable to the dealer "paint treatment" that they'll sell you for as much as $1500 (pure profit for them). Rest assured it's the real deal.

A picture is like a thousand words. IT SPEAKS FOR ITSELD
I know what you’re thinking 50 bucks is a lot of money but let me tell you I’ve tried products. The one I like the most is SS soft 99 you know that Japanese stuff but other than that this stuff is amazing so let me stop talking and let let me upload a pic and you tell me what you think?

Worth the work.
I was hesitant to try this out because of having to apply two coatings to the car and the fast flash time. However it seemed like a good product for my wife's Mercedes-Benz. This is not the easiest product to apply. You apply the base coating to a 2'x2' section, buff it off after 30 seconds, then repeat until the entire car is covered. Then repeat the entire process with the gloss coating. Both products buff off hard. The application itself took close to three hours with six hours of preparation before that. (Wash, tar and iron removal, clay, two step polish and rewash to remove polishing dust)The results were pretty amazing though. The car just didn't seem to get dirty. Then we had a few days of rain and when we drove the car the water just flew right of the surface. A week after application I washed the car and everything was easier. The wash mitt glided right over the surface and none of the usual contaminants were left behind when I ran my hand over the paint. I used a damp MF towel to dry the car and that was even easier because the water just couldn't grip to the paint's surface.Lastly, the shine is amazing. I've used many products over the years and this provided some of the best results. After washing I applied Sonax Polymer NetSeal and I will apply a layer of their wax next time. So far these Sonax products have been tough to work with but for me, the results are worth it. If you're looking for and easy coating, this isn't it.

Ceramic coating
Product goes on easy and wipes off easy. I don’t like the second step pad doesn’t slide smoothly. Ceramic coating is the way to go. Really does repel dirt and easy to wash. Time will tell how long it will last. Super happy so far after several months.

Shiny
Looks great, this picture is 3 months after application. I had enough for a second coat (doing that in the spring).
