Now my diaper of choice
Diapers are so variable, and really every diaper its every baby differently. However, Huggies have become my favorite diaper for my daughter. I tried Luvs, pampers, and Mama Bear, and while they all worked, Huggies has all the features and the right price. It's remarkable how much liquid Huggies hold. My daughter has a bad habit of holding her water bottle upside down in the carseat, soaking herself and her diaper in the process. Remarkably, Huggies Snug and Dry absorbs a ton of the liquid, and still has room for her own mess. They have the "wet line" which is super useful when she was really young to know if she needed a change. She rarely has a blowout, and the few times she has, I don't think any diaper would have contained it completely. Leaks are rare (see blowout above), and while diaper rashes are uncommon, and mild when they happen. They move with my daughter, and we noticed no change now that she's walking. Overall, huggies are my new diaper of choice, especially with the value Amazon has to offer on them. If the price goes up, I might look around, but with the value and efficacy ratio in balance, Huggies Snug and Dry are my go-to!

the best deal Ive ever found
Exactly as described!!! I am honestly impressed with this find of mine. I purchase 2 boxes every 6 months. One box stays at home, and one box to the day care . Each usually last a few months. Whenever my son would have GI issues going on and I'd think he was done with his bowel movement id change him and almost immediately id have to change him again. I'd find my self going threw a pack of diapers so fast, sometimes, the whole pack in less then one day. And It was the worst having to take him out all sick like that to get more diapers. When I purchase these bigger boxes with subscribe and save not only is it way more cost effective, but I don't find myself running out of diapers in the middle of the day.

Our favorite diaper brand
With my 2013 child, we used Pampers Swaddlers for the first couple of months before switching to Target's Up & Up brand. For some reason, when we switched to Target size 3s, my son would get horrible diaper rash! I was diligent about changing frequently and applying barrier creams, but I just couldn't stop the diaper rash from recurring. I briefly switched to Pampers Baby Dry and hated them. I then tried huggies, and they were perfect! I can count on one hand how many times we've had a leak in these in the last 2 years, and every time it's been because he chugged water in the car on a longer trip. There's no weird smell. They hold up well. And best of all, NO MORE DIAPER RASH! So thankful they make these in such large sizes as well because he's a big toddler and at 2.75, he's still not ready to be potty-trained. We'll try again in a month or two, but until then, it's Huggies all the way in our house! Also, if you haven't tried Huggies Overnights... those are the absolute best. My son started sleeping so much better when we made the switch!

Used for years
We cloth diaper most of the time, but when we travel, we use these. We've used them on both of our sons, and they work great. Few leaks or blowouts. I did NOT receive this product free or at a discount in exchange for a review. This is the reason there may be a "Verified Purchase" label on this review. I have no obligation to leave a positive review and do my best to give feedback that will be valuable to anyone considering purchasing this product. I was neither paid nor sponsored for my opinions and all thoughts reflected in this review are solely my own. I personally rely heavily on product reviews to determine which products I buy. Because I know the importance of honest reviews, I give my opinion based solely on my personal experiences with the product. My aim is to highlight features and drawbacks that I would want to know about as a buyer, not hype the product for the manufacturer. Comparing Huggies Diapers Versions. Snug & Dry 12 Hour+ are the Best
Comparing Huggies Snug & Dry 12 hour +, the regular Huggies Snug & Dry, Huggies Overnights, and Huggies Little Movers. I have 2 children and have used Huggies or Pampers diapers for the entirety of their diapering needs. Here are my thoughts on all things Huggies diapers: Huggies Snug & Dry 12 hour+ diapers: 4 stars. Bottom line: GO WITH THESE ONES! These diapers are great! My child can wear them for hours and they do not leak or feel damp on the outside like other diapers. To me this is the most important factor in a diaper. We use these diapers day and night, (again, because they last through the night without leaking) which is cheaper than buying the Huggies Overnights usually by about 45%. Of course, at some point all diapers will leak, but my kids can stay in these all night (usually for about 13 hours) and during the day I change them usually in about 5 or 6 hour intervals--not because they need a new diaper at that point but because I like to change them before they get to that point. More liquid in more often means more liquid out more often. So the higher frequency of changes during the day is not surprising. In addition, they fit well, and the tabs are easy to undo and redo for adjusting to just the right snugness. There's no chaffing. They have Disney characters on them, which my kids like, and circles that show the size in the motif as well; so it's easy to identify the right size when switching to a different size. I'm docking 1 star because it is a little hard to tell on the packaging whether they are the regular Huggies Snug & Dry or the Huggies Snug & Dry 12 Hour +. You have to look at the picture of the box on amazon.com to verify, and the box Amazon sends usually looks totally different than the box in the picture. But, after years of ordering them, I am happy to day the right product had always been inside the box. Huggies Snug & Dry (regular, NOT 12 hour +): 2 stars because that's about how long they last until they leak. They do not feel damp to the touch on the outside of the diaper which is nice, but the bang for your buck is not worth it in terms of number diapers and laundry detergent due to the increase in loads of laundry caused by leaky diapers. Huggies Overnights: 3 stars because of price. They are too expensive. The Huggies Snug & Dry 12 hour + do the same job for significantly less money. The Overnights are true to their advertising though. They last through the night and fit well without leaking. Huggies Little Movers: 2 stars. I used these diapers with my first child for about their first 3 months of life. They often felt damp to the touch and had to be changed quite frequently. I would give them 1 star but their redeeming feature is the little line down the middle that changes color when your baby wets them, which let's you know they're wet. I appreciated this feature when I was really tired those forest few months and so was my baby. It took some of the guesswork out. By the time I had my second child I only remembered liking this feature and not how much I disliked the dampness that I tried them again. Upon using then with my 2nd child I was more experienced and did not find the changing color line feature do incredibly important. In fact we didn't finish using the pack we bought before switching to Snug & Dry 12 hour +. If you found this review helpful, please click the button saying so. Thank you!

Huggies win over pampers!!
I have tried 5 different brands and also cloth diapers. These are the most absorbent and best value for money. Pampers consistently leak and are very cold on my babies bottom when she wakes up in the night, huggies do not do that. They absorb well. The only downside is sometimes I find absorbent crystals on babies bottom.. Even when it's only been 2 hours or more so. The fit is not as good as pampers. Huggies kind of slip off baby butt and the side straps do a weird thing. Huggies side straps are much stronger than pampers. The biggest plus for huggies is that they are unscented! Pampers smell like crap. Also huggies have better price point.

Mites in Huggies brand diapers!! beware!
June 2017 update: One week after we stopped using Huggies diapers purchased off Amazon, my son's itching stopped dramatically. I want to be clear that this was NOT an allergic reaction b/c he had multiple actual bug bites, especially around his diaper area. Again, he was the only one in our family being attacked for about 3 mos before I realized it had to be the diapers. I also want to note that we stored the diapers in our home sealed inside the manufacturers bag until we used them and we keep a very clean house/ very attentive to detail. We continued the scabies/ mite treatment for about two weeks after we stopped using the diapers to be safe. We weren't seeing new bites and all his old bites were healing well b/c he wasn't relentlessly scratching them any longer. I had to throw away probably 2 packs of Huggies 172 count (still in manufacturers plastic bag/sealed) and probably spent close to $500 on various treatments for my son and my home b/c I did not know what it was at first so this Huggies negligence basically cost me almost $600, many sleepless nights, worry about what's literally eating my son, and lots of pain to my 2 yr old son. I will NEVER buy products from them or their Parent company every again !!!! Original review: My son got bites all on the upper part of his butt, i thought they were mosquitoes bites at first but new bites developed even when he wasn't playing outside and they were getting bigger and itched him so bad that he would scratch till he bleed. He was the only member in our house getting these bites. Nevertheless, I treated our entire home and backyard, spending a lot of money! I was also constantly treating him w/ 4 different treatments, he was getting sulfur soap baths twice a day and we also got medication cream from doctor...the old bites healed but new once kept developing. This went on for almost three months till I realized that the only thing it could be was bugs in his diapers since no one else was getting bites in our house and there weren't any bugs in our home either...I would search the beds almost every night when he would wake-up itching and screaming but would find NOTHING. I now know it's b/c the mites are almost totally transparent until they change color after drinking plenty of your blood, yikes!! It makes me wonder if there were also eggs and larva on the diapers which you definitely couldn't see. We will NEVER use ANY Huggies brand item EVER again!!!! I would give zero stars!

Buenos
