The Bosch Electric Grass Trimmer EasyGrassCut 26 has been a fantastic addition to my garden toolkit. I would prefer items like this to be ready made in the box but surprisingly easy to put together and super fast and well made

I’m hoping it’s good (light enough) but within two feet of first edge cut the twine has broken twice so not happy about that I will try my own twine it’s a bit thicker so will put on less of it and hope it works as I’ve given my daughter my cordless one for this lighter one but may need to go back to cordless if my cord keeps snapping too Very disappointing on that side of things I have to say

I cant believe how good this is for the price I paid. It's so easy to use and does a great job on the edges of my lawn. Cannot fault this for.the price.

We have had ours for nearly three years, still works great. I just came here to see what size of cord it needs as it's nearly run out (1.6mm). Excellent value.

Having easily assembled it, it dawned on me that this is a grass trimmer, not a strimmer. It will not edge lawns unless you hold it precariously and hope for the best. It doesn't have an adjustable head and it's quite heavy. Haven'y even tried using it and its going back.

I didn't realise that not all strimmers can swivel to cut vertically or automatically release the cutting line, and I've only had basic cheap strimmers before. This is a VERY basic strimmer and yes, it strims grass, but I wish I'd read the description better. I'd say the description is somewhat misleading.. With no vertical cut, I'd not say it is ideal for garden edging. (where grass meets patio slabs) Semi auto spool.. nope. it says the spool unwinds when you press the trigger, but also tells you to not press the trigger frequently... and that line wears down very frequently. To release the line you have to turn the strimmer upside down and keep pressing a button to release a few mm at a time. If you're hitting anything hard like a stone, or wood, you'll spend a lot of time with it upside down. Just make sure someone doesn't come along and press the trigger while you're doing this! (or make sure you unplug it each time you need to do it which is a nuisance) My other strimmers were great for smacking the grass and weeds out of the gaps between patio slabs, but don't expect this one to be able to do that with it's weak line. But if you just want to trim a small area of grass and will be trimming against flower borders rather than hard edges, then this is probably great for that task. I expect it would also tackle leafy weeds well, but would struggle against harder stems like brambles.

This is great littel strimer ! Worth the money for shore , last one lasted 8 years befor dyeing so got this only dwn side as others staite is the silver strimer line supplied in spool breaks so often were it’s fine , if you purchase a blue strimer wire and get rid of the silver and re thread the spool with blue strimer wire your have no issues of breaking so freqently the blue strimer wire is slightly thicker so more durable once that’s done perfect littel strimmer, cant fault it def recommend 5/5stars

Being electric I didn't expect much but to my surprise it worked. I don't have bushes or anything woody just grass and leaves and I wanted to make it smaller to put into the composter and it worked.
