Bought this cause the dongle for my M705 mouse went missing, this filled in better than expected, it doesn't have the DPI setting changes but all other buttons work

Just wanted to put in a good review for this receiver. I have some older equipment, a K330 keyboard and an M310 mouse. Running Windows 10. Initially, the product didn't work - neither the mouse nor the keyboard wanted to pair. One of the reviews here recommended googling "Logitech Unifying Software download," which suggests several download sites with version 2.52.33 of the Unifying Software. A quick install later, the software walks you through pairing of the keyboard and the mouse and both work flawlessly. Great product, just needs an extra step.

You might want to be cautious about purchasing this item. For one, it is not plug & play. You have to download compatible software from the Logitech website (outdated site URL printed on the package). Should be easy, right? But wait, Logitech has no software available for my operating system, which is Windows 10. So now what? Try to return it? Well, since I opened the package on the electronic device, it is now ineligible for return. But to even test or use the device, I had to open the package. Completely unavoidable to find its completely useless. There was nothing listed about this in the description. Besides, the description specifically stated this device was compatible with my Logitech K350 keyboard. This proved to be untrue. $13.36 plus tax is now down the tubes, and quite disappointing being stuck with this useless dongle.

Perfect replacement for lost usb adapter. Plugged in and it was immediately recognized. Was able yo download software onto new computer and configure my devices. Considering buying an extra for another mouse I have lost the device for.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:As others have mentioned, you need to download the Logitech Unifying Software first. This only works with Logitech equipment that supports unifying functionality. My company admin had provided an ergonomic keyboard & mouse, but it was missing the dongle. I really liked the keyboard, so ordered this hoping it would work. So far, it's working with no issues. Also, the dongle is really difficult to remove from my laptop so I used a USB hub to house the dongle. It's much easier to remove the hub from my laptop instead of the dongle. Problem solved.

Works clearly and easily upon setup, only complaint is that the instructions on the package were not in english and the link it tells to visit does not work. If you're confused, just look up USB reciever in the logitech downloads section of their website and install the reciever program.

I ordered a U-C0007, and the item recieved in the box that was labeled U-C0007 was a U-C0012. I could not get it to work in my Dell laptop running Windows 11. I thought it was dead on arrival. However, I could not return it. I contacted Logitec support and they walked me through the necessary site to activate it.

This receiver didn't work from day one. I had bought a Logitech MK850 keyboard and mouse combo whose receiver stopped working, very early on, within the time of purchasing my combo. I was working from home and couldn't find info on Logitech website about how to get a new receiver so I decided it would be faster and quicker to receive it, if I ordered it here on Amazon, seeing I couldn't find info readily on Logitech's website. I received the receiver and went to use it but noticed that it didn't fit snug into my USB port, on my computer. I then noticed that the receiver is shorter than the original receiver, the width of it, inside is smaller, and it doesn't have an orange piece inside, it's black. It almost got stuck in my new computer. I am now stuck and can't use the keyboard and mouse because I can't find the right unifying receiver I need. I logged onto Logitech's website, and it wasn't too much help. See photos for differences. In1st photo the one I purchase here is at the bottom (the shorter one) In the 2nd photo the one to to the left is the one I purchased. You see it is hollower inside and doesn't have that orange piece that they say should be inside a Logitech unifying receiver.
