Waste of money, DO NOT BUY THESE FOR LORA
I bought two of these 5.8dB fiberglass antennas to link my home and allotment, but I’m really disappointed with the performance. In testing, they actually gave me a worse connection than the cheap little 3dB antennas you can get on Amazon. With this Antenna (and without even connecting the 5m cable) I get -8db out and -14bd return, on connecting the little 8" antenna I get -2.25 out and -4.25 return, this is a MASSIVE difference!!! Bigger doesn’t always mean better — in this case, I noted also that they are missing the pin in the SMA connector and also installed an adaptor, it made zero difference! The £5 3dB antennas massively outperformed these. Save your money and go with the smaller, budget options instead.

A reasonable lora antenna for the price
Appears well made. VNA confirms that it is a reasonable impedance match at expected frequency.

Good quality antenna
I purchased this to add to my heltec node base setup. First thing I did was check it's swr with a nano vna, I was surprised, a nice 1.2 reading on 868mhz straight out of the box. The cable and connectors are also decent quality. When assembling use some self amalgamation tape to seal the joints if you plan to use outdoors. Definitely worth the price

Tuned to 915mhz
The antenna was tuned to 915mhz not 868mhz

Well made, strong and good performance.
Required for Resilient long range meshing network that I'm setting up. It came with all the fittings I needed and was easy to fit, came with a good quality co-ax cable and plugs already fitted. Overall impressed with performance and quality, recommended.

A lot of expense for not a lot of gain
I get no better signal than compared to the standard LoRa antenna that's about an inch long. Total waste.

Sma cable is female not male
Good quality piece of kit. Watch out for the RP-male connector, it doesn't have a pin, I believe that's what the RP stands for. Haven't tried et but will update review once I have an adaptor for the RP_SMA connector
