CRI ratings for these light boxes?

Hello, I did make this purchase for the Kodak LED Lightbox, but when it arrived the LED lights were uneven and flickered. I returned the first box and got a replacement. The second box lights were very uneven in the glass display and I retuned it for a full refund. If Kodak would just do a better QC job before this box leaves the factory, it would be the best LED light table for imaging slides and negatives. Until they do a better QC I would not recommend you purchase this box. If you do, please make sure the LED lights are producing even lighting without pin spots and flicker.

What is the CRI rating for this lightbox?

That information was not provided with the unit. The online ad merely states, "98% ACCURATE COLOR RESTORATION".

Is the screen glass or plastic?

the screen is plastic but sturdy

ac adapter available?

I looked for an ac adapter at several places, Best Buy, Meijer, also called a few computer places to see if they had any. Answer was no at all those places. This is the second one I bought and neither would work with batteries. I finally just hook it my computer and run it off the computer battery.

Excellent packaging, really sturdy product, smooth, uniform lighting, and works perfectly for viewing or copying photographic slides or negatives. When used with the free Kodak scanning app it's really easy to get high quality digital copies of old photos.
