TL;DR - insanely comfortable pants well-suited to wear around the house and outdoors as long as it isn’t too cold; they are extremely thin and won’t offer much warmth but I cannot say anything negative about this purchase; worth buying a backup pair for when I wear the . . . pants . . .off of these pants!One evening last month I put on a pair of warmup pants — THE warmup pants, I had no other — and realized they weren’t all that new when Pope JPII was alive, and the elasticity was gone completely, and there was too much pant material for my frame, and maybe I should retire these.They were fairly heavy, but I live in a sub-tropical climate and hardly ever need anything so heavy.So I bought these because they were rated well and inexpensive compared to other known brands and I was not going to be hassled by the thousands of off-brand options, all of which I regard as a gamble at best and a hassle at worstI am very pleased with my purchase. For context, I am 6’0”, between 160 and 165 lbs depending on the day, and could reasonably be described as long-legged but not drastically so.Size: I bought medium, and they fit me perfectly. Take my height and weight into account in deciding your size. They even might run a hair long, but that could be due to how they sit at my waist.Style: I wear these in and around the house, and need only impress my dog, so these were simple and basic enough that I didn't much care how they look, but the photos are accurate.Comfort: I have achieved maximum comfort permitted by natural pants law, and wear these at all times until I go out during the day, and from after I get home and dress down.Material: The material is very thin and lightweight. I don’t think I would want to be outdoors in temperatures below 60° F for long in these, but that’s not of much concern to me. If you have cooler temperatures often enough and want something to wear outside, this is not the right option.If this description matches your need, you cannot go wrong with these!

My son has some sensory issues. THese are his favorite "safe" pants. He has been wearing them for many years. They do shrink but that doesnt happen until they've been dried the 573rd time, so no worries. Also he is a boy, and so they do eventually wear out. But as a kiddo with a growing waist line that is helpful that it's elastic. Also even though these are athletic wear, he can get away with wearing them wherever.

These are lightweight, somewhat loose-fitting, stretchy, and extremely comfortable. They are great as around-the-house pants and even as pajamas. Except for the wide black stripe down the sides they would pass as casual pants outside the house, though personally I would hide the elastic waist with an untucked shirt or a sweater.But for a workout their looseness might be more hindrance than help. And they provide almost no warmth. So, one star off for misleading marketing; these are not really workout sweatpants.

Honestly for the price you can't beat it. I am 6ft 295 to 300 pounds and these fit nicely. I do landscaping and wanted a pair of pants that were lightweight. Fortunately I needed some to look like dress slacks(Dickies or other work brands) and these fit the bill. To be used for what they are intended for id say go for it. They're comfortable and lightweight. I love that I don't have to worry about losing the drawstring in the waistband because both ends are attached. Not to mention they're stylish and versatile. Be warn the length of the pants is 34 which given the circumstances of hanes products is not too bad for most people. Personally I tuck them in my boots like you would combat pants and I'm good. The drawstring has stayed true to keeping my pants from sagging which is a common problem I have with most pants even with a belt. I've been using the Hanes Sport Xtemp Workout Pockets, Men's Training Pants for a while, and they are definitely light and comfortable. The material feels great during workouts and they offer good flexibility. However, I've noticed that they quickly start to get "pulls" in them, which affects their overall appearance and durability. While they’re great for comfort, the issue with pulls means they don’t last as long as I’d like.

I bought these to get an extremely light pair of pants to keep all the grass off me while mowing/string trimming. Tried them today... I thought they might be hot since I got black, but I was really surprised, they worked well and were way cooler than I thought! I am 5'8 and got large... had to hem them up nearly 5 inches. The length comes ready to fit someone much much taller, but the waist is what I would expect for large. Bought some iron on hemming tape to hem them-- if it doesn't hold up in the wash I'll have to get them sewn.

The small size is equivalent to a typical medium size pant. Since it fit me well, I'll say overall amazing pant. Thin and lightweight, perfect for working out.

Too long. Waist size is good (M) but the length is too long, I’ll just have to use these for mowing the lawn with the riding mower. Otherwise, good pants.
