Melissa & Doug Giant Tiger - Lifelike Stuffed Animal (Over 5 feet Long)

This tiger I love -- he understand me in the two languages. Where can a tiger be found who has the understanding of the two languages? So this is unique. This is special. I want to say this tiger look at me when I talk to him. I say, Tiger, Wo Wohnst Du? and this whole time he look strait into my eyes. I say Do You Live Hir With Me? and he look still strait into my eyes. I think he dip the head for the how you say nod to show he agree, he does live hir! So, first thing--tiger speak the double languages. Second, he good to listen and make the eye contacts. Third, he even capable to interact the one with the other. Fourth thing--he mighty big & strong. He can be for you like for me a sentry. I pull couch next to window when I am out gone to do the shopping and the outside things--on the couch I stand the tiger next to couch. When outside the window it makes the great shadow, the tiger head, big tiger arms. I do not sink any burglaries will come my way do you think to agree or not? Number five, he does not sheet in the apartment so I do not have to clean around like with real dog; does not eat does not drink. Six, he can play with baby. My nephew over Hir to visit with his baby girl she like tiger plenty; the tiger claws are taken away and they put in there a soft tiger mitt very friendly for babies. Seven--striking colors!!!! I sink this is the representative of the Bengal Tiger -- great color great stripe--very good painting of the tiger, like real (except no sheet no eat no drink). Acht -- you can put him anywhere over. Can put on bed. Can put on couch. Can put on floor. Just right size. Nein--no allergies, no dust he makes. Healthy tiger for the air. Last thing Ten (finally) gud and strong, the quality is there like German automobile this tiger strong can put up with movements and playing he stick around long time. For the end, you will not be misery if you buy this tiger. there are ten things to buy him -- above. I like. I do it over and over to buy again. thank you guys.

This tiger is adorable and Melissa and Doug’s extra large stuffed animals are great quality and the tiger has great detail, the price is incredible for the size. I think the returns are people thinking that these will be your typical plush stuffed animal. If they were they would be in the $300 and up range. I bought it for my grandsons bedroom. Mainly just for decoration in his jungle theme nursery. Very happy!

How lifelike! My cat's tail got huge when he saw me take this out of the box. Took him fifteen minutes or so to slowly creep toward it. Then he pounced on it and ran off. Laughed so hard! Really a nice, big stuffed animal. The nose is so real looking. They have really paid attention to details. Colors are just perfect. WOW. I think it is great, kids will love it. What an impression it makes. I do notice a little bit of size off scale here and there, but not worth lowering review. This is a stuffed toy, not a replica. I am glad I took a chance on this. Tag says it meets or exceeds all US standards. Means it is safe, and cuddly. This stuffed toy is huggable and can be layed on like a pillow. It pretty much just stays in the one position, but that just adds to the realistic look. I would call this a short plush, but there is long fur around the head.

My almost 3 year old grandson loves tigers. I bought this for his birthday. The tiger is awesome and very realistic looking. I'm hoping he likes his new tiger.

My daughter loved it. And all her friends enjoy to play with the tiger at her party. Its huge, great quality, the white tiger is more soft plush then the orange one. It was worth to buy it.

I am use to good quality well-designed products from Melissa and Doug with their wooden toys. And I had seen this in person when shopping a year ago and it always stuck in my mind. Amazon has it at a good price, especially considering the size box it comes in and shipping costs. I was concerned with some of the recent reviews where it seemed almost a different toy. Well I bought this in November 2012 and the look, quality, softness, and detail have exceeded my expectations and what I remembered. The face is very detailed, with different and realistic fur and other details. There are details under the paws. Even the tail is sized well and detailed. You can get a lot of educational value because of the realism: you can discuss the size of the paws for running fast, the stripes for camouflage, etc. The one shortcoming is that it isn't very poseable except the tale. But at this price, I expected that. The whole tiger is soft and cuddly all the way around. It is a large, cuddly, realistic, detailed plush toy that will bring any child lots of joy, cuddling, and hugs. Recommended.

This is an wonderful product at an incredible price. It is a nice size and beautifully detailed. We actually bought it for our son's 1st year b-day because he loves huge stuffed animals. He loves it; frequently climbing all over it or pouncing into the sides. I think it is perfectly safe for a smaller child as the only chocking hazards would involve strangulation via the tail or a child gouging out the eyes and eating them. If you don't notice that happening, you need proff. help. The face is very nice, which was important to me. The only things that seem odd were that the hindquarters are a bit disproportionately small and the tag said it was 'pose-able'? My husband keeps bringing that up. . . I don't really see how it is pose-able, its posED, and the tail is pose-able I suppose. . . but the arms are not really movable. Very nice overall, even I like to hug it:) I will probably be buying the giraffe and the zebra for my son's jungle-themed room when we have the $.

This Tiger is awesome!! We love the realistic features, the plush feel, and the size!! We purchased it for our jungle themed nursery. I was worried that it would look cheap, but it looks amazing. I read a review talking about the hind legs looking odd compared to the front legs. This is not an issue at all. If you have ever seen a cat on it's hind legs it looks exactly like this. It does not look odd at all. From every angle it looks great!! It really does look real. We will be sitting on the rocking chair that faces the crib with the tiger next to it. It is just sitting there staring at you and you can't help but feel like it looks a little too real. The price is ridiculously low for what you get. I know any child would love this...heck I love it!
