very good quality
it is sturdy and the 3M adhesive strips are very strong. It did not peel off any paint because I applied twice. after first trial, I re-aligned the whole thing and re-applied the strip to the door. The adhesive is still strong and no peel off of any paint. I am very happy with this product that I ordered 4 more for all the doors in my home. including 2 bathroom doors.

Bought this for my house. My 3 year old daughter is a clumsy little nija. Lol she's always catching her fingers in the doors, or the latest her brother slammed her finger in the door, had it not been for the finger safe I fear we would have ended up in the ER. Thank you finger safe. Will be ordering more

Wrong design or manufacture
The part I received can never be installed due to improper construction or poor workmanship or overheating and skew during storage. I took a few pictures to illustrate the problem - the door flap part stays much lower position than expected to mount on the door.The last photo shows the correct configuration of the guard. It is clamped for this photo.

Easily to install and held up pretty good so far. The accordion is a bit too bulky but it does job.

It works! and its inexpensive.
I seen a product like this in my granddaughters daycare. I searched Amazon and ordered it. All I can say is Wow! Instructions were easy to understand and only took a couple of minutes to install. Now when my grandkids come to visit I don't have to worry about them getting their fingers pinched anymore. Will definitely order more.
