UFO LED Light for Hornady LnL AP & Single‑Stage Presses – 27 LEDs

This UFO light system is outstanding. I had another, more expensive, lighting system setup on my Hornady LnL AP press and it just wasn't getting the job done. I saw this lighting system on a website for Dillon presses and looked on KMS Squared's website to see if they had it for the Hornady press and they did. The 550 lumens is no joke! It is super bright. I originally thought about keeping both light kits to make sure I had enough light, but the old light kit is not even needed with this awesome UFO light kit. I couldn't even tell the old light kit was turned on next to the UFO light kit. If you want something that will truly light up your shell plate and the inside of your cases during reloading, this is definitely the lighting kit you need to get. I wish I would have gotten this kit initially when I started reloading with my press. It would have made reloading life so much easier! It was also super easy to install and everything you need came with the kit. You didn't even need the instructions to install it, but the instructions are clear and concise. Really folks, if you reload on a press, this is the lighting kit you need to make sure that everything is running in order on your press.

The best light you can buy for this press. No shadows. All bright all the time. I have been using this for a year with no problems.

This has been an excellent addition to my Lee Classic Cast press. All of the components are top quality, and I must say that the LEDs are very bright. I mention this because I bought another company's product and was very disappointed by it lack of brightness. I saw a review of this product by a fellow on Youtube, and it became apparent that he did not realize that the LED strip had an adhesive backing. By following the directions of properly prepping the surface, the LED strip installs very secure, and the entire installation provides very ample lighting. This kit is very well priced, and I highly recommend this kit. I hope they someday offer a kit for the Lee Loadmaster.

I’ve been using this led light system for over a year now and it is outstanding. The lights are very bright and perfect allow me to visually inspect each case prior to placing a bullet for seating. Prior to getting this light I jury rigged a light that was a pain in the neck to keep attached. This lighting system is specific to your loader. The swith attaches perfectly to the side of the loader stand in just the right place to comfortly operate it. This light is so good I bought on for my brother-in-law who uses a hornady loader. The system gets an A+.

This is actually a great product, and does a very good job of lighting the work area of the press. The Adhesion though was not as good as it should be. I followed instructions but the strip going down to the base kept coming loose. I solved the issue with a couple of zip ties.

SWEET JESUS this thing is Bright! like don't stare directly at it bright, I mean that in the best way possible too. it is probably one of the best low cost upgrades you can make to a Lock n Load AP press. My eyes aren't what they used to be and I was having a hell of a time checking each station on the press (especially powder levels). I was using a cheapo wally world clip on desk lamp but it just wasn't giving me the light I needed in the places i needed. I looked around and the only other options were the Hornady light kit (a paltry 6 led's and only mounted to frame) the price was right but not the light source, Or a competitor who was more expensive and had less LED's, ooooor I could try and make my own. For this price I doubt I could have done better. be sure to follow the directions exactly and you will have the perfect press light up and running in less that 10 minutes!

I want to start by saying this is an awesome product/kit. I did have some issues installing it where the strip wouldn't adhere to the press. The ring stuck really well, but the straight part kept coming unglued. I prepped the surface really good, I think it might have been a bend the strip had on it when it was packaged. Needless to say I emailed them and received a very fast reply asking if I had prepped the surface. They quickly offered to send out a replacement and did. I didn't have any issues with the new strip. I had been using a bench light since 2009 when I stated reloading on a Lee Turret press. This light makes all the difference in the world!
