This works miracles
I usually don’t write reviews but this deserves all the stars.Let me just start by saying I have severe anxiety and when stressed out for some reason I pick my lips … really bad. After ongoing life events over the span of two months I didn’t know if I would get them back to normal. To give an example of how bad they truly were, I was sitting in my bathroom crying and googling “how to stop picking my lips” at 2 am, with blood pouring from my mouth. A little graphic, I’m aware. I physically could not stop. One of the top things that was said was to of course keep chapstick on.Regular chapstick stick didn’t do chit. The thickness of Carmex in the round container helped but not much. The blue blister in the round container helped a little more. (For some reason the round containers helped more than the tubes, I’m guessing consistency)Even after 7 empty round containers I still couldn’t get relief. At one point, I gave myself thrush, my lips got infected and I was in constant pain yet I still couldn’t stop.I have had THIS product less than a day.I haven’t picked at allI’m not in pain at allAnd for the most part (reapplying frequently so they don’t get dry) within 4 hours my lips looked healed. They feel healed. There’s no rough edges of skin etc. this is definitely the best $9 I spent.I am so grateful.

Rather shocked to discover how well this works
It actually really is more effective than other balms I’ve tried. I was quite surprised. I got a sample packet at my dermatologist and forgot about it. The drab labeling made me think it was old fashioned and unappealing, but one day I was out and I had a crack in my lip and found the packet in my jacket pocket. It worked pretty much immediately. So I got the little jar for my bedside table and a stick of this stuff for my purse, and am happy with both. It’s not sticky and stays on a long time; I’ve woken up the next morning and still felt a trace. I can even use it as a lip primer before applying lipstick due to the texture. So, I recommend it.

Worth it. so worth it.
The ONLY product that has fixed my lifelong chapped lips. I do have to apply consistently but it is a much better option to the alternative I've been living with for years with no end in sight. I use this with Vaseline overnight

Not as easy as the tubes
First, the good. I love Cortibalm! It's the only thing that has ever truly helped my lips. I used to have very dry, peeling, and painful lips, no matter what kind of lip balm or ointment I tried, or when I tried going without any lip balms. Nothing worked. So when I found Cortibalm, I was thrilled! It works so well, and my lips are completely healthy. While I wish that I didn't have to use something with a steroid long-term, I do, and so I continue using it. So, I was thrilled to find these jars. I thought they'd be perfect to have on my nightstand, last longer than a tube, and there wouldn't be the plastic waste. Sad to say, they haven't been worth it to me. While the formula is the same as the tubes, it's very hard for me to apply it. The balm is quite hard, and using the pad of your finger doesn't, to me, get enough out to make it worthwhile, but instead is frustrating. I have to use my fingernail to scrape some up, which I don't like doing, but it's the only way that works. It's messy and not sanitary to me. I have noticed that if my room is very warm that it is easier to use, but as I don't like to sleep in very warm temperatures, the jar is not something that I am a fan of, and I will be going back to the tubes.

Literally saved my lips
I'm on Accutane and my lips started cracking so bad in the corners they were almost bleeding. It hurt to open my mouth. Not even Aquaphor was helping. But it only took 3-4 days of applying the Cortibalm day and night for them to heal. Absolutely a lifesaver if you are on Accutane.

Highly Recommend!
This product works wonders for chapped, cracked, bleeding lips. My daughters use this for their lips because of Accutane and it helps out tremendously. Highly recommend.

Best stuff ever for lips
I can’t recommend this enough. My lips were always chapped and hurting the sun. A friend told me about Cortibalm and I gave it a try. It has been life changing. No more chapped lips I apply it before bed every night

Perfect dermatologist recommended lip balm
Great for daughter undergoing treatment using isotretanoin. Lips are excessively dry, but this stuff works well. Lips still appear red and sore, however this lip balm protects. Shame I had to buy it via US Amazon to obtain at a reasonable price.
