This DogBuddy food mat does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The raised edges actually work, keeping water and food off the floor instead of letting it spread everywhere. The large size is perfect for bigger bowls, and the taupe color looks clean and neutral—not cheap or flashy. It’s flexible but sturdy enough to hold its shape. These are well made, the color Shadow is as pictured and the size is accurate. They come rolled up in a manufacturer box and no issues when rolled out. They laid flat and are easy to use. I’m sure they’ll clean up just fine when the time comes. I also purchased 2 PAWGETHER Gravity Feeders, which I love by the way and highly recommend, and both feeders fit on one 19x12 mat side by side perfectly! I ordered 2 size XXL 32”x24” of this mat to go under each of my Tidy Cat Breeze XL litter boxes. They fit great too! I’ve included photos of all the above. There are cheaper options out there, but I chose these mats because they’re made in the USA - the company is in Seattle. Good value for sure! Highly recommend!!

Perfect size, neat, easy to use and keep clean. Water dishes stay in place. Works well, no more water on the hardwood. Color looks great against the hardwood and not a tripping hazard like fabric mats can be. Highly recommend.

Durable mat and looks nice. Flexible and easy to clean. Lesson learned: you would have to get a pretty good size beyond the bowls to really take advantage of the product; otherwise you’re still cleaning the mat AND the floor (twice the work).

I have a small terrarium (growing orchids) sitting on this product to prevent water leaks onto my counter. The terrarium is quite heavy and I have to draw the dog food mat to empty water from my terrarium, clean it, etc. Reason I mention this is that the mat is super durable, I never feel like it's going to rip or tear. I'm sure for it's intended purpose it's great for pet food and water. Love this product, no water leaks (it holds a ton of water too!!), the thickness is great, very durable overall!

What a great mat for under our dog’s food and water bowls! There is a lip that doesn’t allow the water to drain off the mat onto the floor, and it works very well. It also keeps all the crumbs from spreading around the kitchen. It’s easy to clean too! Thank you!

Another purchase I made for my senior dog who was accidentally knocking over her water bowl constantly, and water was getting everywhere on my floors. This mat has been a lifesaver. The raised lip around the edges does an excellent job containing spilled water and keeping it from spreading all over the floor. The silicone material is fully waterproof and protects my laminate flooring from water damage, which was a major concern. It's incredibly easy to wipe up - just grab a towel and it's clean in seconds, or rinse it off in the sink if there's a bigger mess. The mat has excellent slip resistance and stays firmly in place even when she's eating or drinking, which is important for her stability. There's no weird rubber or chemical smell, which I appreciated right out of the package. The silicone seems durable and thick enough that I'm not worried about her chewing it, though she hasn't shown interest in doing so. For the price, this is excellent value - it's saved my floors from constant water damage and cleanup time. It's also large enough to hold both her food and water bowls comfortably with room to spare for spills. If you have a senior dog, puppy, or just a messy eater/drinker, this mat is absolutely worth it.

I bought a small one when our dog was a puppy to use under his feeding bowls and when he outgrew it, I used it as a shoe and dog towel mat near our deck door. It's easy to clean and dry. The only thing I will say is silicone attracts hair, so you have to wait until it's dry to shake that out and vacuum it.

I use this mat for my cat. I had a door mat for her food bowl and water and her claws constantly got stuck in the fabric. She overturned the water, which ruined my carpet. So this more solid mat is a brilliant item, as my cat cannot dislodge it. I am most pleased with the purchase.

The mat appears to be quite sturdy, and I'm quite pleased with the light grey color. However, it arrives rolled in a tube, which has caused some minor deformation along the sides, making them not perfectly straight but slightly bulged. Given the price, I had hoped for a flawless product. I initially expected the mat to regain its original shape over time, but unfortunately, it hasn't. Nevertheless, it still serves its purpose effectively and maintains its overall quality.
