Therapist recommended!
This workbook is amazing. I'm a dually licensed therapist (clinical mental health & marriage & family therapy) and I use this religiously both with my individual and couples/family sessions. As a trauma informed therapist, this book is such an amazing educational resource and tool for individuals and clinicians. Whether you have a trauma history or are just struggling in any area of life with managing your stress, struggle with anxiety/depression, or self esteem issues- this workbook will improve your life, and maybe even change it. It is also very ADHD brain friendly with the way its laid out (the info is well compartmentalized in a way that's not overwhelming or too dense). The goal of this book is to basically help us become more self aware and live more intentionally and authentically vs just living in autopilot mode and going through the motions and feeling unfilled. It is centered around being more aware and conscious of our bodies and nervous system in order to help rewire our brain, we first have to create a sense of safety within our bodies. Whether you had a traumatic childhood or really wonderful upbringing, but still find yourself often feeling "stuck" or overwhelmed, this workbook will help. I use this book not only daily in sessions and have recommended it to several colleagues and clients, but also use it separately for myself as my own act of self care and I love it. For those who are wondering- the "How to do the work" book by Dr. Lepara is helpful to read before this, but totally not necessary. You can work on the workbook and not need to have read the book its based off of before hand. Whether you're a clinician or just a person who wants to better themselves- this book is for you and you will not regret buying it!!!!

Wonderful Guide!
Dr Nicole does it again! This book was a beautiful journey and guide. The format, the content, it all flowed so well. Some of the questions really challenged me and it felt good. I knew in those moments those were the things I needed to really face and tackle on this journey to meet myself. Her words and how she divides the book really made me feel like there was someone there helping me along the way. I took my time knowing what I needed to stop and really focus on the chapter or section and I feel like I have a whole new set of tools in my toolbox thanks to this book., in a new level of awareness and I believe it did help me meet myself.

Beautiful, well-rounded, thoughtful workbook
This workbook is broken down into the following chapters for meeting: your habit self, your emotional self, and your authentic self. I thought this idea was intuitive, and the book is also beautifully designed.I thought this was an interesting concept, that we aren't our automatic habits or emotional selves and don't always have to identify with them, even though they are important to explore and be aware of. Each section has a variety of original prompts to explore each aspect of ourselves. There are ideas that could be explained more, like having a dysregulated nervous system, polyvagal theory, etc. If you are interested in these topics, I found the workbook 'I Want to Connect' to be a great read.Overall I thought this was a very well-rounded workbook for reflecting and "meeting" myself.

Amazingly beautiful, Well Thought Out and Organized
I’m sure I’ll have even more good to say when I get even deeper into it but I can already tell this will be an amazing tool on my healing journey.Her first book (note: you don’t need to have read that one to get this one), “how to do the work”, changed my life and perspective on a lot of things, and I feel this workbook gives you the tools and an excellent guide to doing that work. There’s soooo much good information, outlines, journal prompts, QR codes to guided meditations… so much good stuff for such a reasonable price!! I plan to use this in conjunction with therapy but it could definitely be worked through on your own.The colors and illustrations are very appreciated as well, it keeps it from feeling “dull” and at least for me helps stimulate my mind into WANTING to keep using it. Looks like you can jump around different parts that are more relevant or go “in order” of the book. It’s very user friendly. I plan to work through some of it with my husband and some of it on my own, and he seems pretty excited about it also. :)

QR codes do not work
I was very excited to get this book as I loved "How to do the Work". I cannot get the QR codes to work. I've tried several different ways to access the meditations, etc and have been unsuccessful. The content is excellent, was just really looking forward to be able to access the audio information as well. If anyone has any tips i would welcome them!

I loved it!
This a a helpful book and workbook because it invites you to self reflection, be mindful and true to yourself and also incentivizes to work on yourself, to know yourself and continually practice new patterns that can lead to change and a positive change. Although, the author has some controversial reviews in Reddit I found it helpful and applicable to my own personal experience. I’m ready for her other books.
