A Field Guide to Whisky: An Expert Compendium to Take Your Passion and Knowledge to the Next Level (Revised and Updated)

I love this book. Instead of wasting my time with a lot of verbiage I could live without, it is a clear and concise discussion that answers so many questions I had about the distillation process. It's more like an encyclopedia where, if you have a question about a step in the process, or how the whole process works, you can find a detailed summary that provides exactly the information you need. Much like a field guide to plants or animals, I find myself sometimes just browsing through the book to stop and read things that catch my eye. Wish I had bought this a long time ago.

I bought these books with the sole intention of using them as decoration for a shelf, and they look spectacular! The covers are very aesthetic and the colors add a touch of elegance and warmth to the space. They arrived in perfect condition and look much more expensive than they were. If you're looking for books for decorative purposes, these are a fantastic option.

I bought this for my roommate and he loves it! He loves learning all about whiskey and trying different options. He reads a bit of it every night.

New but the binding edge had a gouge in it. If it was a gift I'd send it back. My husband didn't want to bother sending it back since it was for him. But commented that we hadn't chosen the used book option for less, but we got a damaged one for full price. Still he didn't want to bother returning it so there ya go. Other than that it would make a nice gift for the whiskey lover.

I purchased this book as a birthday gift for my son. He recently purchased a custom coffee table and knowing of his appreciation of Whiskey and the history of it, I decided this would be the perfect gift to start the whiskey theme of gifts. He lives in another state so I relied on his excited reaction as confirmation that it was the perfect gift. The delivery was right on his birthday. The quality of the book was great and is a nice accent for his new coffee table. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Very informative and a great Christmas gift.

I started getting interested in Whiskey about a year ago and my wife bought me this book. You can turn to just about any page and start reading. It filled with history and little known (at least to me) facts! It has increased my whiskey (and whisky) knowledge a hundredfold! I even bought a copy for a friend!

Comprei para presentear meu irmão durante o Natal. O livro é pequeno, mas belíssimo, tem cara de "relíquia". Já o conteúdo, meu irmão ficou bem impressionado (história + fotos + dicas). O papel é grosso de acabamento brilhoso, o que confere imagens marcantes. Texto em tamanho agradável e preto. Para quem curte o tema, é uma excelente compra!

This book is fantastic. So informative, well written and a great read. If this book doesn’t answer all the questions you have about whisky I’ll be amazed. Worth every penny.
