I am asked to mention suction power but of course this is a bolt on tool so I gave five stars for that instead. Currently I am working on my dining table until my workshop is complete. It's easy to place a small piece of cardboard where the clamp has contact with the wood to prevent any scratches occurring. Once in place it is very sturdy and holds items in place well. I am really happy with my purchase. I envisage this will be used often on a daily basis and confident about its longevity. A well worth purchase. Highly recommended. 5 stars all round from ordering to full functional use. Delighted. Thanks.

Multiple design/production faults (1) the jaws are covered in thick shiny paint - so don't grip (which is the basic function of a vice!) (2) The casting of the part that grips the top of the table has a large ridge about 1mm thick (casting fault) so it CAN'T sit flat - or grip! whole thing wobbles. (3) The washer at the top of the tightening screw sits BELOW the screw top - which then just graunches into your furniture and mangles it from below! It's dirt cheap - but because it's so bad, it's still too expensive! It's going straight into my metal recycling bin.

It is well made and stays firm on a workbench. It can be rotated as you would like to work on it. It suits us very well to do some delicate work from time to time. The table clamp is neat and stable to work on. This is a piece of kit that we would recommend if you need to work with one.

Was the perfect size for the job, surprisingly well made/sturdy for the price. Has been used on a few different jobs and has worked well. No complaints and would recommend.
