Not worth the money
This extender is a great disappointment. Looks great easy to set up but the range is terrible. Works close to the router but 20 feet away would not connect to my router. Wish l had better news. This was the second one we tried with the same luck as the first. Spend a little .more money on a mesh network system less headaches and just as easy to set up. If you have a house over 800 square feet and multiple rooms and floors. I bought the week system wow what a difference in speed and relay ability.

Works great only for 2.4 ghz
I purchased the item by mistake as I thought it worked for my dual band hotspot. It was very easy to install but only worked for the 2.4 ghz portion and not the 5.0 ghz. I did however see a big improvement in speed and extended the signal. Keep in mind this only for the 2.4 ghz of my hotspot.. it does nothing for 5.0 ghz. I returned the item and found a dual band to purchase. If I only had that one band I would have kept it.

It kinda helps I guess
Item arrived fairly quickly. Was pretty easy to figure out how to set up. Once connected Booster kinda helped but it disconnected from the device I needed it on (game console located downstairs away from network) I have booster near modem so the signal should have reached the console. It is approximately 35 feet away and one story down) Booster just won't stay connected.Tried to return to purchase something different but couldn't locate link to return item. Now return window had passed and device is basically useless because it won't stay connected to device I needed it to be connected too.WiFi stuff is really tricky to fix. I'm no expert but I know how to set up and install a simple network. Have no idea why this didn't want to work. And yes, I did try uninstalling and installing again🤣😂🤣Personally I'm on the wall about this product. Purchase at your own risk. I installed it on the Xfinity network (City. Ext is the device) signal is strong but gets weaker when I go downstairs. Again try to see if it works for you.

Good product
So I just switched from Xfinity internet to Verizon home internet. For some reason back in the bedroom I don’t get very good signal. I had a pod with Xfinity worked great. So when I got my new internet I didn’t get one. So I came onto Amazon and found this productIt was so easy to set up. And I’m definitely getting much better signal definitely would recommend this Wi-Fi Booster.

When it works
This repeater works well to boost the signal. But it doesn't work consistently well.At least twice a day I have to unplug it and plug it back in, as it loses sync with our router. It very dependably loses sync with our router.Other than the additional exercise and annoyance that I'm receiving, it's fine.My standards are generally higher.Your mileage may vary.

As Advertised
Once I read the instructions watched the YouTube video the instructions matched actual setup (that’s not always the case with other products). It says coverage is around 8k sq ft, I’m covering approximately 6k sq ft currently VAST improvement from 2k coverage. I’m going to move the extender around to get better coverage. So far I’m satisfied there’s nothing perfect, it’s better than what I had!
