I don't know if they're waterproof but they're definitely water resistant. They're padded and have a velvet-like material liner. I attach the hook to my belt loop to carry them while walking. The larger ones have a loop also so you can hang them on your belt if you want to. The two smaller ones have loops also but are too small to get a belt through them. Another nice feature is they have a catch on the draw string to keep them closed. The two larger ones have about a 4 inch diameter opening, giving them plenty of room, although they can be somewhat bulky if you have narrow lenses.

These hold my lens easily. I’ve tightened and loosened the string multiple times without any tears or issues. I haven’t tested to see if it’s water resistant and probably won’t be transporting these around.

I purchased these for lenses pouches to protect my lenses. But found the larger one holds my camera, the two middle sized ones hold my lenses and the smaller one holds my battery and charger, was a perfect setup! Highly recommend! Cannot comment on the water resistance.

I was not sure what to expect when I purchased these. Good sizes. The material is durable and super soft. I have not attempted any water, so not sure if they are water resistant. I would purchase again.

Ordered these to protect my camcorder using the large one and others for other equipment. It is perfect for what ever you need to protect.
