It's wood, it's long, it has fingers on the end and you can use it to scratch your back. If you are expecting it to do anything else you'll likely be disappointed.

Hard to go wrong with a back scratcher, but sometimes they do. This one is long enough to get down there, and yet, I sometimes flip it over and come from the other direction. A longer backscratcher would be unwieldy.I hate giving 5 stars to this simple, cheapish product, or any product without it being a "wow" item, but what else could the manufacturers have done? Drove over to your house and performed the scratching for you? The last time that happened to me, I had to call the police. Naturally, after that ordeal, I had to ask for my money back. :)

Exactly as described, I bought this as a gift for my partner and he uses it on an almost daily basis! it's long enough to reach every spot he needs it to, but the durability could use some work. It began splintering not too long after it started getting used.

love this back scratcher! It’s strong, well-made, and does exactly what I need. Sometimes my back gets itchy and this helps so much. The bamboo is smooth but firm — perfect for reaching those spots. So glad I got it!

Exactly what I wanted. Something strong enough that wouldn’t bend. I could itch my back and didn’t cost a lot. This cost four dollars. It’s thick and sturdy and strong and it works perfectly for what I wanted to do. So if that’s what you’re looking for this is a good one.

I had one years ago, but this one is much sturdier and nicely finished.
