I have a 4k DVR with front and rear cameras on my motorcycle. The DVR will overheat and stop recording after a while, so not to damage the unit. I bought this and put them on the DVR and no more overheating. The adhesive is strong, (I have a Harley that vibrates as a Harley should) and all the pieces I add to the DVR are still intact. Good product, I strongly recommend!

Unlike other reviews say, these do not come with adhesive. Also have quite a few areas where the finish is scratched off. Premium price, low quality.

To be clear, I have no real idea what I’m doing, but from the basics I’ve picked up on YouTube, these things work great. I have a stereo system consisting of “separates,” which includes an analog EQ that produces a decent amount of heat. My living situation all-but forces me to stack it on another component in a covered area (not good). This not only denies the EQ proper ventilation, other components absorb heat they’re not built for. So, I may have overdid it, but I used thermal tape (Mucos) to stick three on either side of the EQ, being sure to have the slats oriented vertically and allowing air to move underneath. I’m now able to leave the component on as advertised without it (or neighboring components) reaching a worrying temperature. This is not a permanent solution, but these serve their current purpose well.
