Nice pitcher filter system
Nice pitcher filter system. At first I didn’t think it really was working. Then I finally read the directions! I just filtered water through a couple of times and the water was definitely better. Took out all the chlorine odor and the taste was not our typical city filtered water. I did notice that I need to not pour the last of the water out as the cover will slip if not holding on to it when tipped to much. Also after reading the reviews about the water not seeming to filter right I noticed that I just needed to reseat the filter and make sure it was in snuggly. I do not know if it is recommended or not, but I ran out of distilled water for my cpap machine so I used the filtered water. I am not reviewing this as someone of interest for the supplier, but, when I use the cpap machine with freshly filtered water from this pitcher, it is actually like smelling fresh air. Sounds strange but that is what happens. I love it!

Great pitcher, great tasting water, great company to do business with!
This pitcher is solid and dependable--so much so that I bought a second one to keep up with my own demand for filtered water (plain, boiled with ginger root, and in iced tea). Now I have two! (It is not the first brand of water-filter pitcher I have purchased...but when I went to buy refill cartridges for that first one, they were no longer available! So that pitcher was then useless.) I bought my first Lake Industries Alkaline Water Pitcher in January 2019 and my second in June 2020. The filters are always available for purchase. And I was very pleased with customer support when I had a question. Prompt and helpful response. It is nice to do business with a company that values you as a customer. And I am delighted with my filtered water quality and taste.

Water tastes much better
Great tasting water, Have to be careful pouring as both filtered and unfiltered can come out it top is not held down if it is still filtering. Easy and economical way to get alkaline water at home.

It is a good water pitcher and have not regrets with my purchase from 5/2018. Highly recommend.
So here is what I can say about this water pitcher. It is great and I have been using since 5/2018. I drink a lot of water so I am filling it several times a day. I use the water in my coffee maker, in the cats water dishes and occasionally I use it to water plants. We are now 5 years down the road and the pitcher is doing great but the battery has finally wore down. Any idea's on where I can purchase another lid with count down timer in it or better yet how to replace the battery?

Horrible filter design, creates air pockets and stops water flow
It does it's job pretty well, when it actually filters. I don't understand the filter design and placements. Without a picture it's hard to describe. The filter fits in place making a tight air seal and the water just doesn't flow from the filter to the tank, it flows down from the filter into the placement that the filter sits in, then slightly up then it is forced down into the hole that drips into the tank. When that is covered up with water at a certain point of filling it, it creates an air pocket that prevents the water flow. Then you have 3/4 of the water in the reservoir that sits there and never gets filtered. Out of the 3.5 liter pitcher I only get 3 cups of water at a time. When you use enough water to clear the air bubble, the water still doesn't flow again. I have to dump it all out and re-seat the filter each time EDIT: Pitcher now is getting calcium and lime deposit type stains and build up. So the filter either isn't filtering or water is bypassing the filter somehow like all the other negative reviews state.

Taste not change
I still taste chlorine in the filtered water. Before used another brand, the water taste was much better. Will not refill the cartridge.

Love it
I bought this filter several years ago because I love the taste of Alkaline water, but didn't want to keep paying for the overpriced bottles. I'm not going to make any claims about how it cured all my illnesses or anything, I just prefer the taste, and if it does something good for me as well, then great. Easy to use, filters are easy to change, just like a brita. The filters are a little more than brita replacements but not enough for me to care. I'm writing a review on this purchase because my sister liked mine so much that she asked me to get her one.

Mixed review - water tastes good, but product quality is questionable
I do like the taste of the water that is produced by this pitcher. It's tasteless (no chlorine, etc.) which is what I was hoping for. However, the first filter cartridge that came with the product did not work at all. After many attempts at flushing it, shaking it up, etc. could not get the water to pass through it. The second filter that we tried did work perfectly, but it doesn't stay put. When the water in the pitcher gets low and you tip it far enough to empty it, the filter cartridge falls out of the hole where it sets. Also, the lid where you add the water for refills doesn't always stay open. It will often fall closed when refilling. Overall, the water is good, but the pitcher could definitely be better.
