Listen, Yetis are expensive. And there are other competitor brands that are a fraction of the cost that work just as well in my opinion. The one place Yeti outshines every single competitor though is in its magslider lid. Even knockoff magsliders can't hold up to the original.While it isn't 100% leakproof, it contains it to a slow drip long enough for you to pick it up before it turns into a huge mess. And the thick material maintains the drink's temperature for long periods of time. Plus the magnetic tabs mean cleaning is easy and thorough.Instead of buying yeti tumblers, I now save money by buying other brands and separately purchasing this lid in the correct size for them. It is worth the hassle and still saves me money!

This item provides a perfect seal and is easy to remove. It is durable and a good value for the money.

I have 6 non-Yeti mugs, and finally bought a Yeti 30 oz mug to try. One problem with the non-Yeti mugs is the other mugs either didn't have a sealable top, or the sealable top is snapped together. I've had stuff growing in the top, and broke two of them seals attempting to clean.I found the Yeti mug had a magnetic top and the top is easily removable to be cleaned. Tried the Yeti top on my non-Yeti mugs, and had success! Purchased several of these Yeti tops for my non-Yeti mugs and I love them.Tipping over, if you right the mug, you're usually cool, but staying on its side, the lids will leak slowly. You can also fill the mug to the top and the first couple of sips will make some odd gurgles because the liquid can easily cover the vent holes as they're relatively close to the drink location.Minor problems, but a great lid. From other searches, be careful, your mug may not fit the Yeti lid. Most 30 oz mugs have the same size opening, but my searches showed several versions didn't. Either search for your mug or buy one and try it. I think you'll be happy with the Yeti magnetic replacement lid. I know I am!

Arrived in great condition and was a fit for my tumbler. Good quality item.

It leaks a bit but not bad. I bought one for my husband she uses it everyday and is happy with it. Mine I use much less and it works good. Yes I would buy again.

Just dropped it about 5 feet onto the concrete basement floor. No crack! The little slider thingy came off, but I realized it's magnet, so that's even more of a bonus because it'll be easier to clean!
